2024 has been nothing short of a rollercoaster of highs and lows but through it all, this band has been my safe haven. It’s given me a voice I didn’t know I had, a way to pour my heart out into something raw & real through creating and playing music. I never imagined we’d get the kind of love & support we’ve seen for despïa. To every single one of you, our friends, our family, and all the new ears who’ve taken a chance on our sound.. thank you. 2024 was a year of firsts for me. First release, first music video, first sold out show (!!!) and more. I’ve written more music this year than I have in my entire life and I’m happy I got to do it with my bandmates - all while being cheered on by my family and friends. Thank you for the love and support on our first few songs, there’s more on the way! And idc ima just say it…BIG THINGS COMING. Xoxo, Christina

feeling very grateful as i reflect back to what we were able to accomplish this year! starting out as a brand new band, putting out just 3 singles with thousands of plays on spotify to selling out and playing our hometown record store leaves me shocked, honestly but in the best way possible. i truly do feel like i’ve learned and grown a lot this year and just very excited to keep the grind going into 2025. big year ahead for us and i really can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. thank you for the support new friends and fam! see you guys next year. much love & peace to you all 🖤 - @justdamian
