RAPRAVE presents INCUBATO®️, an exploratory event series intended to foster rising talent within our communities.

Join us this Friday at SANGS in Bushwick as we welcome [@twntyelevn] for their debut set. This collaborative project between seasoned selector [@sshheeebbaa] and sonic wiz [@xtyboi] is focused on pushing forward hard club edits with experimental sounds to keep you moving all night.

[@letter.zee] channels an interstellar force on the decks, weaving sounds of the global south and the Black diaspora. Heavy drums and vocal chants create both the destination and the journey. Transitioning from URL to IRL, we sync with hyper/link Vol. 2 contributor [@twaankalu]. The DJ/producer adopts an energetic pace, mixing acoustic and metallic textures that reflect life in the concrete jungle.

@techno___casa founder [@mui____mui] embodies a chameleon-like approach, crossing genres with a deep love for percussive rhythms and low end frequencies, ranging from wobbly dubstep to raw, break-y techno. RAPRAVE resident [@audiiiit] rounds out our lineup, bringing the latest in ghettotech, electro, and more.

“This crossword board game is for everyone, the fashion girls, the artists and big thinkers. The aim? Make up words based on a prompt and get them voted as true, the most convincing wins. Prompts include scary movie, music genre and Paris. Linguistic conservatives may think meaning is breaking down with the rise of emojis and internet slang in contemporary vocabulary, but as new terms emerge, they enrich our culture and push it forward into the future. Earlier this year I got to produce the visuals and music for the @leedsragfashionshow !

The amazing fashion show and the wonderful team @leedsragofficial raised £21,163.62 for the @youngmindsuk charity!

It was such a pleasure being part of the wonderful team both on set running the screens & music, and also to be able to plan out visuals with the directors.

I created a big bulk of the music for the show but honestly, I couldn't have done it without the wonderful friends who helped out with either instruments, vocals, or their own songs!! (together we made about 40 minutes of music in the span of a little over a week).

You can see the full live stream on YouTube Leeds Rag Fashion Show 2023 (the audio quality is unfortunately not the best).

If you want to get involved in any part of the show next year, then I recommend contacting @leedsragfashionshow already! :)
