YUS! Sorry Section’s debut EP, Who’s Sorry Now?, is out today on all streaming platforms via local label, @itsokayimcrying (links in bio)

This project was borne out a desperate desire to stay afloat during the dark, divisive and lonely times of the Covid era, where I struggled mightily with crippling mental health issues.

They say that music heals, and guess what? It does. It really does.

I’m forever indebted to the San Diego musicians who helped me extract myself from the sorry section through this project, who helped breathe life into these songs I wrote, and who brought them to a whole new level with their creative talents. These are all friends I met through hosting Not So Serious Radio over the years… and I never imagined when we first met that one day we’d collaborate on music.

@__.paper (who got the damn ball rolling on this thing)
@internetbrian (who offered up his home studio to jam)
@annazinova (who taught me to play ukulele)
@thefrustratedcowboy (who also offered up his home studio to jam)

Shout out to @_kris_poulin_ who recorded and mixed the EP, and more importantly, encouraged me to record this music and made it a positive and incredibly fun experience at his studio in Little Italy.
