🏕️BT Kids Camp 2025, We Outside✨

I’m what you’d call a BT baby, born and raised in the Brooklyn Tabernacle, and I grew up a BT Kid. BT Kids was where I first learned about God’s love and what it means to have a real relationship with Him, even as a child. It’s where I felt seen, loved, and found my passion for worship. I loved it so much that as soon as I aged out, I started serving and I’ve now been a BT Kids worker for 10 years (13 counting my JV years)!

Serving God’s children has been one of my greatest joys. I’m forever humbled that He lets me reflect just a glimpse of His unconditional love to them.

Early this summer, a word from God was spoken over me about being a big part of what He wanted to do in BT Kids this year. The word came through someone dear to me at a time when I was in total panic about everything going on around me. I told God in my heart, “I’m available,” and I received it… but only with my finite mind. Little did I know the magnitude of what He was preparing.

This summer, I was honored to serve as assistant camp administrator for BT Kids Camp 2025. It felt like a full-circle moment for the BT Kid in me. Working alongside the same people who once poured into me, while I got to witness God move powerfully through 263 kids whose hearts weren’t entirely ready but fully and completely open.

It was hard work, long hours, spiritual battles, and constant prayer. But God did what he always does, and he showed up! To see their joy, hear their voices in worship, and feel His presence resting on us for seven days straight… there still aren’t enough words. I was a well of tears by the last day overwhelmed with gratitude and awe.

People around me have asked if I’d do it again, I said,
“If I only had the weekend to rest and had to be back Monday? God willing, I’d be there by Sunday morning.”

Because as Jesus said in John 10:10, “I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.”
And that’s exactly what this summer and this camp was—an overflow of His abundant life, joy, and love.

All Glory to God✨
