Fishing has definitely heated up these past couple of weeks. Not only has there been fantastic offshore tuna fishing on both school sized fish and some trophies but also a nice mix of variety. 3-10 day trips all coming home with tuna, yellowtail, wahoo, dorado, seabass, and even a few nice grouper. Exactly what we’ve been projecting since the beginning of the season. That being said for those of you wondering if December and January will still have this warm water we all project that it will. We still have a plenty of openings on our December 3 day trip leaving on the 27th. Definitely worth your while if you want fresh fish before your New Year’s Eve parties.#royalstarsportfishing #darkseas #jigginggamestrong #xtratuf #

Got the Bomb Set Ups in order. Catching Wahoo on the Troll is cool and all, but Chuck & Wind Bomb fishing for Wahoo is some of the funnest fishing you will ever do. The @phenixrods PHD 869XH Deckhand Special with a @okumafishingusa Alijos 12Sll High Speed is THE Bomb Combo. @xxltackle Bombs Straight Tie 50 for the Stealth Approach, and 80-80 when they’re Biting and wanna come on the Boat. All 3 Outfits rigged & ready in case you get clipped or cut off. I’m hoping Alijos Rocks is biting and we get to wack em’ & stack em’. The @pelagicgear / @excel_sportfishing 8 Day is here. I’ll see you guys at @fishermans_landing tomorrow morning… 💣💥🔥✌️✌️ #wahoo #pelagicgear #phenixrods #okumareels #xxltackle @pelagicgear @phenixrods @okumafishingusa @xxltackle

This year El Niño has had its ups and downs for us. Luckily we’ve been able to succeed in all categories as far as a long range trip goes. Enjoy a little sample of the variety featured during our El Niño tour so far.#royalstarsportfishing #darkseas #jigginggamestrong #xtratuf #grudensusa

Sending back wahoo bombs on the slide is going to start being a regular thing. This slug was caught off a kelp on a flat fall.

The new @xxltackle flyer daisy chain had the marlin up in the spread all day. Can't wait to throw a stinger on it and drag it around the tuna grounds.
