A life in music is unlike any other career. We don’t start playing and singing and writing songs for our “careers.” Very often music is an escape, a place to land, to feel, to be inspired. We sit down and practice out of our love for the craft, be it as a singer, songwriter, musician, producer, mixer etc. But somehow, somewhere along the way, a pressure to have “success” becomes the focus. “How do I make it?”
•
For me it’s been a journey of many different avenues of music. But for once I feel like I’ve landed. Being present and zeroing in on WHY I do this has completely changed my outlook and honestly my life. I believe I’ve been put in this place to be at one with my music so I can be authentic and real. To share a part of me so that the listener can experience something and take something with them. Healing. Emotion. Love. Inspiration. A desire to get closer to G-d. To be honest I’m not always sure I’m able to do that, I am a human being after all. But when you remove the “pressure” and zero in on the purpose of it all, it can change everything.

Audio reflects my current opinions 😂

Buddy is a puppy I’m currently training and he is so confident with other dogs even though he’s teeny tiny! This video was taken from a day last week that I was boarding him and he was soooo happy to see Kody again 🥰

Reminder that even small dogs need training, and props to all the dog owners out there who invest in their and their puppy’s lives by getting started with training at a young age, setting their dog up for success early on! (But that doesn’t mean it’s ever too late 🙌🏼)
