Megapter Hydrofoil | Electric Tender Concept | 2021

How much should design borrow from nature?

This concept was developed as an exploration of the relationship between design, science and biomimicry, taking inspiration from the humpback whale — not by copying its form literally, but by studying the efficiency and character behind it.

The vessel uses pectoral-style hydrofoils to lift the hull above the water at speed, reducing drag and creating a smoother, more efficient ride.

A lightweight carbon-fibre structure keeps mass low, while an electric ePropulsion system and two battery packs are positioned to extend range and distribute weight more evenly through the boat.

The interior was developed around the same philosophy. Rather than treating hull, deck and cockpit as separate elements, the surfaces flow continuously into one another, creating a more integrated and organic environment.

Designed for four passengers, with generous storage in the bow, the result is a compact tender built around efficiency, simplicity and exploration.

Not nature copied.
Nature understood.

Some stories are meant to stay private.

Aboard the legendary Maltese Falcon, sailing through the crystal-clear waters off Porto Rafael, Sardinia.

The celebration will remain unseen. Some moments are a privilege to witness, not to share.

From intimate weddings on secluded beaches to private events aboard one of the world’s most iconic superyachts, I’m deeply grateful for the trust that continues to open doors to extraordinary places and remarkable stories.

If you’re planning a destination wedding or an intimate celebration in Sardinia, Italy, Europe, or anywhere else in the world, I’d be honored to tell your story with the same discretion, intention, and timeless approach.
