Scored a few panfish today... and a whole crew of bass who clearly thought they were invited to the Panfish Derby! 🤷‍♂️🐟

When your light BFS tackle gets completely bent out by chunky bass all day, you really can’t complain. Zero trophy panfish, 100% pure fun! 💥

Entered a panfish derby and ended up getting the surprise of a lifetime. 🎣🙏

Genuinely didn’t think I’d get this 27-inch, 5.5 lb chain pickerel into the boat on a light crappie rod with 4lb line. Pure luck and a lot of patience keeping that thin line intact! 🧵🚣

Definitely not the crappie or bluegill I was aiming for, but so grateful for the memory and an unforgettable fight. 😅🙌

Got super lucky today at the LMCC tourney! Ended up taking 1st Place and Big Bass with a 4 lb 6 oz, 20-inch chunk 🍀🏆

Trying to weigh a bass on a scale instead of using a measuring board - was strange 😆⚖️

Awesome time meeting all the local anglers out there!.

16.5 inches. 2.02 lbs. 🐟💥
When it hit, I thought, “Nice, solid bass!” 🎣

Then it surfaced, and I realized I had just hooked a silver football on performance-enhancing drugs. Absolute unit of a white perch. Crazy catch! 😂🏋️‍♂️

The bass were cooperation-level 100! 🎣💥 Stacked up double-digit catches overall, including 6+ absolute tanks in the mix! 🏆🐟 Non-stop action setting hooks and reeling in quality fish from start to finish. 📈🔥 Days like this on the water are pure magic—already replaying the top catches in my head! 🌊✨

I’ve got so many mixed emotions today. 🥺

Thank you to @oldtownwatercraft for honoring their warranty and replacing my 5-year-old kayak. I will always be a loyal customer because they keep their promise!

BUT... cutting up my Autopilot hull to finalize the claim felt like a crime. ✂️ A bittersweet moment, but so excited for the new boat!

Sneaking in a few casts before Mother Nature turned on the hose today! 🌪️🎣💨 Fought off crazy winds yesterday hiding out in the coves to get the gold 🏆🐟, and now safely hiding out inside from the tri-state deluge! 🌧️🏠

Hope everyone is staying safe and dry out there! ☕️⚡️

Found a cove to hide from the wind, tucked in, and got it done! 💨🎣

Short, sweet, and out of the gale. Still landed a few nice ones before the storm rolls in! 🤪 Half the battle today was just staying put, but finding that calm pocket made all the difference.

Resting up tonight—heading back out tomorrow to hunt down some smallies. Wish me luck! 🐟💥

🎣 Slipped out to the home lake for a quick morning session and hit the jackpot—pulled in a handful of feisty ones and a couple of absolute hawgs. Nothing beats topwater blowups before breakfast! 💥🐟

Thank God the local lake actually came through! Honestly, after surviving the nightmare of moving, unpacking endless boxes, and getting the autopilot on the lake, it would’ve sucked so badly to come out here and get skunked on home turf. 🙌🎣📦

The wipers and walleyes are still playing hard to get, but the local bass definitely showed up - landed some really nice-sized ones! 🐟💥 Add in a bunch of giant crappies, perch, and pickerel, and all that moving stress completely melted away.😎🤖
