SKATEBOARDING NEEDS TO STAY OUT OF POLITICS AND RELIGION.

Skateboarding has always been about freedom, individuality, self-expression, and bringing people together regardless of where they come from or what they believe in.

That’s why I have a problem with DLXSF, Crailtap, Yardsale, and other brands restricting distribution to Israel over political conflicts.

You can criticize governments, stand up for human rights, and disagree with political decisions without excluding an entire community of skateboarders. Skateboarders are not their governments, and a person’s nationality shouldn’t determine whether they’re welcome in skateboarding.

The culture we love was built on crossing boundaries, challenging conventions, and connecting people from all walks of life. Turning skateboarding into another battleground for political division goes against that spirit.

IT’S TIME FOR THE SKATEBOARDING COMMUNITY TO SPEAK UP.

We should be holding the industry accountable and demanding that skateboarding remain open to everyone, regardless of nationality, religion, or political beliefs.

Don’t just say skateboarding is for everyone. Stand behind that principle when it matters.

NO BORDERS. NO POLITICAL GATEKEEPING. NO EXCLUDING SKATEBOARDERS FOR THE ACTIONS OF GOVERNMENTS.

Skateboarding should build bridges, not reinforce divisions. The industry may control the products, but it doesn’t own the culture.

THE SKATEBOARDERS DO.

Speak up, share this message, and stand for a skateboarding community that brings people together instead of pushing them apart.

SKATEBOARDING IS FOR EVERYONE. PERIOD.

More than a competition — days spent exploring Marseille, skating and making memories at @bowl_of_marseille with @madink_skate, @alemazzara and friends along the way, all captured with Oakley Meta. 🛹
