Some BTS moments from our Lumen Technologies brand refresh. This project had over 35 crew members, 40+ actors, two camera teams, three (2 G&E and 1 Camera) teams, two photo teams, $40K worth of wardrobe, HMU, art department, and enough moving pieces that it felt closer to a feature film than a commercial shoot. The thing we'll remember most isn't the scale. It's how collaborative it felt. Every department knew exactly what needed to happen next, which meant we could spend less time solving problems and more time creating.

This one was a blast to produce. Asa Dyer came to me with a wild idea, and I went to work. We dug through over ten years of our shoots. Which was wild to relive it all. This piece is a fun way to show where we’ve been and point to where we’re going. I’m really excited with how it turned out. Would love to hear your thoughts.

A look behind the scenes of our Lumen Technologies brand refresh. While one crew filmed, another was pre-lighting the next location. While that happened, another team was de-rigging the previous setup. When talent wasn't on camera, they were downstairs capturing stills and portraits. The only reason we were able to deliver close to 250 assets over multiple locations in five days was that every department was operating several steps ahead.

The client wanted a natural, gritty commercial that didn’t devalue their branding they’ve already established. That's why @repfitnessequipment wanted these products to live in a real gym environment rather than a studio. Real sweat, real movement, real athletes pushing equipment the way it was designed to be used. Curious where people land on this: when you're watching a product ad and it feels “real”, do you prefer handheld, or perfectly smooth content?

Some BTS moments from our Jordan Law “Unexpected Moments” shoot. This set had a stripped-down car spinning 360 degrees in the air, six or seven crew members moving in sync around high-speed cameras, and a talent literally flipping upside down dozens of times without missing a beat. Somehow it still felt calm on set. Those are usually our favorite days — complicated setups, really dialed prep, and a crew having a genuinely good time figuring out how to pull something off together.

Quick question for the marketers in here: If your brand had a signature color, would you build an entire commercial world around it? For this project, we matched paints, props, wardrobe, set pieces, and graphics to create an environment that felt immediately recognizable as OrthoFi. The funny part is most viewers will never know how much work went into making it feel that simple. What's more memorable to you: showing the real world your customers live in, or building a branded world from scratch?

For an ongoing campaign shot over two summers with @coloradowildlifecouncil and @rrpartners , Director @brendan.young and a nimble crew traveled across Colorado, chasing sunrises and dodging storms, to document the diverse, impactful work of CPW biologists. This director’s cut weaves together stories from both shoots, showing how meaningful change often emerges from small, persistent action and quiet dedication. “There were tons of different deliverables for the campaign, but I really wanted to put together a singular edit that attempted to capture all of these different scientists who work behind the scenes,” says Brendan. “These people explore, study, and protect our local natural world day and night, in every condition imaginable, and I wanted to try and reflect that scale through an anthemic cut.” Director: @brendan.young EP: @intothefreezer DP: @chris_naum / @william_leddy_gardner Head of Dev: @dylsteph Head of Post: @brittkay77 Campaign Editor: @johnrodosky Post Producer: @krisiolivero / @brittkay77 Post Coord: @sophiaholtfilm Color: @tesedavis_film Sound Mix: @dotwave.co Line: @robmrod PM: @doodoobutta 1st AD: @andrewjamesbenson 1st AC: @yang.mandrew 2nd AC / Swing: @rubenweaver Gaffer / Swing: @henryhougen Photographer: @kristofer.cheng Stylist / Props: @paulinasolski Assist: Caleb Young Wardrobe: @nikkirmalloy Assist: @meems_mk Sound: @cameron_hodge PAs: @janet23reyes, Mitchell Hanna @rrpartners: Associative Creative Director: Patrick Buller Creative Director: Greg King Associative Creative Director: Ryan Izant Sr Executive Producer: Gerri Angelo Brand Manager: Sophie Haws Corporate Director of Brand: Miriam Swofford Senior Project Manager: Angela Suganuma
