Winning a Green Room Award alongside Pummel Squad last year remains one my greatest joys. I love those ratbags so much 💚
My boyfriend, watching from home filmed the chaos of us when the timer ran out and the screen kept flashing ‘Please Finish’. So zany we simply could not be tamed 💚

TWENTY MILLION THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA By @pummel_squad was amazing!! What an unexpected joy to see 2 shadow shows on the same day as part of the @sydneyfringe! Really funny and inventive overhead shadow puppetry with cartooning, storytelling and wonderful live music by @yantoshortis. Was lovely to meet Harry, Cooper and Yanto after the show and hear how the show all started with buying a second hand overhead projector on Gumtree and having a play. Can’t wait to try more things with my own OHP ☺️ There is just ONE more show tonight at @newtheatresydney in Newtown - please go and see it if you can! https://sydneyfringe.com/events/twenty-million-thousand-leagues-under-the-sea/ #shadowpuppetry #overheadprojector

Twenty Million Thousand Leagues Under The Sea lands smack bang at the @newtheatresydney on the 10th-13th of September for @sydneyfringe 🎪🌊🌝

Rasthomus Bulge is a man lost in his own thoughts, and one day has a terrible inkling that maybe every decision he’s ever made was a mistake. So what do we do? We fire him out of a cannon, drop him in the middle of the ocean, send him to have tea with a Baron and launch him into the moon. What will he do then?

With an overhead projector, some drawings, accompanied by @yantoshortis on a homemade synth, Pummel Squad presents a vibrant, absurd, and deeply human madcap spectacle of sight, sound, and self-discovery.

After garnering the NSW Touring Award at @melbfringe last year, we are extremely excited to stage this show for our NSW friends this September!

This is the story of a man named Rasthomas Bulge, a used car salesman with a sudden inkling he’s doing nothing with his life. On a day like any other, our unlikely hero finds himself catapulted into an impossible journey across time and space.
