🎤🔥 ALL-FEMALE CHICAGO CYPHER

ARTIST: @yapora_

Chicago artist Yapora, also known as Yaya Marceline, steps into the cypher with other female artists, showcasing her skills as a rapper, singer, producer, and songwriter.

Featured through 708 Trill’s creative platform, this cypher highlights another side of Chicago’s independent music scene—women putting their talent front and center.

Yapora has been building her own lane through self-produced beats, soulful vocals, and rap. She also recently performed at Black on the Block at Soldier Field in August 2026.

🔥 Chicago talent is everywhere.

Chicago… WOW. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us to your city and SHOWING ALLL THE WAY OUT 🔥

The rain didn’t stop a thing! Thousands of you pulled up to support over 100 Black-owned businesses and artists, and sold several of them out 🙌🏾 We danced, we sang, we laughed, we ate, we circulated the Black dollar, and we connected all day long. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Best believe we’re already planning to return next year and can’t wait to be reunited! Until next time ♥️

OK CHICAGO… the talent is serious! 🎶 We received over 120 submissions for our Black Unleashed Showcase, and narrowing it down was NOT easy. So many incredible artists submitted and we’re so grateful for you ♥️

🎤 Meet our Top 8 artists being considered for the final 3 showcase spots (in no particular order).

Each slide features a song from one of the artists. Listen through, drop some love in the comments, and add a new artist to your playlist.

This is what Black Unleashed is all about: spotlighting Black artists, celebrating diverse music, and creating space for our community to discover and support their work.

❗️The final 3 artists will be notified on August 2.

We can’t wait to see you at Black on the Block on August 30th at Soldier Field!
