J Chinnasz and NYCKY GHOST teamed up for SOLD OUT, a collaborative hip-hop album that arrived this summer.

Built around what J Chinnasz calls “passion, arrogance and disdain for the mediocrity we’ve been subjected to,” the album addresses fake love, personal relationships and frustrations with other rappers. For J, the writing was personal: “This was therapy to me.”

NYCKY GHOST approached the project as an opportunity to challenge himself creatively, exploring a bigger concept, more world building and more obscure beats.

“I feel we both took more chances on this album, and there’s still room for improvement. But I’m happy we passed this milestone,” GHOST shares.

Have you listened to SOLD OUT yet? 🔥🎧

yb’s project will most definitely getting the first listen. rude boy mood & sunlight on water are some great singles and i’ve heard the ep before so trust me, y’all are in for a treat. after that, we got a very highly anticipated project: karahbooo’s. following her falling out & eventual reconnection with lil yachty n the concrete boys, she finallyyy is dropping her debut. i woulda listened to this 2 years ago and im impressed she’s been able to keep her name alive despite barely dropping. so them two then honestly, my third would be adela. i knew about her through the katseye show when they were choosing members. she obvs didn’t get picked but she’s making better music than them now n she’s having her moment w the “aint in la” song. good for her! rejection is just redirection. then of course, nemzz and rex are the other two im looking to if i have time.

what about y’all?
