So excited to share this ! Working on this project with my husband has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done.

I’m used to the feeling of seeing a design come together, but there’s something especially moving about looking around and knowing we’ve created this together. So many conversations, decisions and details, now brought to life.

This is the first of the two apartments we’ve been working on in Parsons Green. I’m so proud of how it’s turned out, and very grateful to have shared the experience with him.

A first look inside.

I’ve always been a little obsessive about the details: the designer behind a chair, the origins of a material, the finish on a light fixture. I want to know the story behind the things I’m drawn to and, usually, where I can find them.

I’m excited to share that I’ve joined MADE | Materials for Designers in Scottsdale @materials_for_designers

I’ve always loved interiors, but over the years, I’ve become just as interested in everything that goes into them: the craftsmanship, the provenance, the people making beautiful things, and the relationships that bring it all together.

Richard and Yaiza have created a thoughtful, immersive showroom at MADE, bringing together an incredible range of makers and materials. It’s a place that invites you to look closer, ask questions, and discover things you might never have thought to look for.

I’ve always believed that the eye has to travel. There’s a lot to discover beyond what we already know we like, and some of the best finds are the ones we weren’t looking for in the first place.

After years on the designer side of the table, I know how valuable a great resource can be: someone who knows the collections, understands what you’re looking for, and can introduce you to something you might never have found on your own. I’m looking forward to bringing that perspective to MADE and building relationships with the designers and makers who make this industry so interesting.

I’ll also be sharing more of what I’m drawn to along the way: interiors, materials, lighting, art, architecture, travel, fashion, old things, new things, and, naturally, a chair or two.

Consider this a place for the things that catch my eye, the things worth knowing about, and the occasional tangent about why one particular detail makes all the difference.

I’m excited for what’s ahead.

See you at MADE. 🤎

AI…No Where To Be Seen 😀

With the discussion being a hot topic and interior designers using Ai as “Renders” or even real (but actually fake) projects I wanted to show some authentic designs which me and my team have been working on for a project in West Hampstead.

Some of our clients love 3d visuals so using programs we create the rooms from scratch and render with the finishes to create something tangible! This clients concept is for the spaces to feel like a hybrid between a hotel and home, where chic meets Victorian and through colour choices, antiques and practicality I feel it’s something we’ve achieved!

I always teach my team to start with hand drawings, or use programs to develop base skills before ai is involved so that designs come from their mind and not the machine!

You need to learn the skills before you try to break them!
