Spend a day in Lakeland with some of my favorite Bar peeps?!?

Don't mind if I do!

What a fun afternoon spent at the Lakeland Bar Association’s Law Day Luncheon alongside an incredible group of leaders in our profession. ⚖️🇺🇸 It was a privilege to stand with Florida Bar President Sia Baker-Barnes - our keynote speaker - and hear her powerful reflections.

I even had a brief opportunity to share a few thoughts of my own on the importance of investing in and supporting the next generation of lawyers. Our profession’s future depends on the time, mentorship and encouragement we provide to those coming behind us - and I’m inspired every day by the work being done to lift up young lawyers across our state. 💪

It was also wonderful to see such strong support from members of the Lakeland community. What a turnout!

Congratulations are in order to local Lakeland all-star attorney Doug Burnetti, who received the LBA's Leadership Award - so well deserved! 👏 👏 👏 And best wishes to the newly sworn-in board as you begin your service and leadership.

🏃‍♀️ would rate 13.1 / 10

I had SO much fun with my first half marathon & am so grateful for an able body to be able to carry me this far. I know 1 (ish) year ago me with a torn PCL would be proud. All glory to God always - running has given me an outlet to deny my flesh and see how far my Father’s strength can carry me. <3
idk if you can tell but I was smiling the WHOLE time😁

Huge thank you to @jegonzalezbravo and @mnuteacherpioneers for putting on a fantastic Education Influencer Luncheon and giving us the opportunity to meet with superintendents, Kansas representatives, amazing teachers, prominent leaders in our community, and U.S. Congresswoman Sharice Davids. We had a great time learning from all these amazing people and the ripple effect we have on our future students. @johnsoncountycommunitycollege @mnupioneers

It was an amazing day getting to meet with Olathe’s middle schoolers interested in being future educators and getting to talk with them about CFE and what it is like being at JCCC.

So grateful for the opportunity to work with Emporia State at their Buzz into Education event here at @johnsoncountycommunitycollege. We got to help over 270 future educators from all over the metro and got to hear from some amazing speakers including the 2024 and 2025 Kansas Teachers of the year. @emporiastate @theteacherscollege
