Going to take a trip down memory lane these next few weeks as we lead into Iron Sisters Strength Camp 7, and I need your help.

If you were at the Inaugural Iron Sisters Strength Camp in July of 2014, what is it that you remember, or took away from our event?

Share your memories here 👇🏽

Yaro always putting in the work Posted @withregram • @yarosquats Squat 620x1 PR
Bench 365x1 PR
Deadlift 615x1 PR

That crispy 1600lb gym total

Pretty satisfied considering this was no peak. With covid hanging gym closures over our heads I decided to some heavy singles and it went pretty well.

At the tail end of July it only seems fitting to pay homage to those who took a chance on The Inaugural Iron Sisters Strength Camp in 2014.

Strength Camp began with 6-time World IPF Champion and record holding deadlifter, Kimberly Walford, along with a handful of coaches including Iron Sisters Founder Frances Manias, Paul Vaillancourt, Team Canada Member Sarah Leighton, Dr. Aras Kvedaras and World Champion Mark Giffin.

And then we just did it again and again and again.

Although July will come and go and Strength Camp (in particular Strength Camp 7) will have not taken place, the memories and the learning and the community we’ve built still goes on.

You can find the videos from this event on our Iron Sisters YouTube Channel.

And, if you want to re-live some of these experiences or, if you didn’t get the chance to attend an Iron Sisters event over the last six years then you can still learn from us as we’ve re-vamped our Strength Camp videos from some of our previous events.

Now is as good a time as ever to kick back and deep dive into the knowledge and insights of some of the best Powerlifters in the world.

Join your fellow Iron Sisters who’ve previously journeyed to becoming a better lifter by learning from Iron Sisters, today.

Yaro currently two weeks out from the Nigara meet Feeling fresher each week leading in. ⁣
⁣
🔘Shown here is a 555 single, exactly where we should be leading into the second last week of prep. ⁣
⁣
🔘Also shown is a 330 true 2 count pause on bench,This prep a shoulder injury became amplified and put some things on hold. Very nice to see that with the right rehab protocol and not rushing back intensity, we’ve been able to get right back to where things were left off prior to the injury.
