The @surftgsa Port Aransas Open was an absolute blast, but there was one surfer who really stood out from the rest.

That was @yates_surfing.

The Port Aransas local and TGSA All-Star put on a performance that was hard to overlook.

Definitely one to keep an eye on! 🤙

STOKED and PROUD of these groms!

They went West to California earlier this Summer to attend Nationals. They trained with coaches, surfed with friends, encouraged each other, and most importantly pushed themselves!

They are excited for the upcoming @surftgsa season, and so are we!

Team @windandwavewatersports back in June at Lowers in CA.

The groms all made the trip to surf in either @usasurfing Nationals or @nssasurf Nationals. It was a blast watching the kids charge it in the big waves against the tough competition!

Thanks @surftgsa for providing a platform for Texas surfers to advance their competitive surfing to the national level and beyond. I’m stoked to be the new South District Competition Director and look forward to a fun season!
