POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“In the spirit of full transparency”, I’m struggling to find words to express my gratitude, for this privilege to be part of this amazing cast and show.

This “adventure” has been short, but truly an amazing one! I’m absolutely floored how much we had accomplished in such short space of time - two and a bit weeks of rehearsal plus a few readings over Zoom.

Not only I have gained wonderful memories of this experience, but also new friends and the first of many opportunity to come, to make something with my life long bro, Gavin! A massive shout out to Sylvia for writing this really thoughtful and witty play. Phoenix, thank you for trusting me to bring Paladin to life. Fed, Shanshan, you kids are an inspiration and thank you for your bottomless generosity and joy! Princess Eleanor! I know you had a very important new chapter to attended too, however, selfishly, I wished you could have been here to boss us around in person, haha! A shout out to The British Museum for letting us shoot in the space. It was such an incredible moment experiencing a visitor-free museum. And to the rest of team, Jayne, Lifeng, Maggie, Alice, Chi Chung, Ivy, April, Alexander, Ashley, Jinyu, Ruijun, Roman (you’re an excellent doorman) and Mum (for platting Shanshan’s hair), thank you for bringing this together!! You guys are absolute troopers!! And let’s not forget the wonderful warmth from The Young Actors Theatre team for hosting our show and being of assistance. Thank you so much, you guys are fab!

And finally - A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all my dear friends and strangers who came to support the show!! It really means a lot! Right enough waffling… hang on…

The wind has changed!!!

TO THE SHIP!!

🔮 Meet Sorcerer.

📜With the Demeter of Knidos watching over his shoulder, Sorcerer conjures a world dreamed up by Plato - the age of Cronus, where people rise fully grown from the earth, the fruit comes to you, and no one has to prove they’re worth anything at all.

😶‍🌫️Measured, searching, quietly tired. He‘s the one wondering whether doing everything right was ever going to be enough.

👏Huge thanks to @brtishmuseum for having us.
In Aulis @thecamdenfringe — 8 & 9 August, 7pm, @yatislington , Islington. Link in bio to book.

🏹 Meet Archer.

🏃‍♀️The warriors carved into the marble behind her — likely Battle of Marathon — didn’t get to choose the fight either. Two and a half thousand years later, someone’s still showing up to a battle they perhaps never picked. The stone remembers the glory. Archer remembers the shift that never ends.

📈Deadpan, chronically online, and lowkey holding it together better than anyone in the room. Quitting, after all, is a luxury — and she’d be the first to tell you so.

‼️Huge thanks to @britishmuseum for having us.
In Aulis @thecamdenfringe — 8 & 9 August, 7pm, @yatislington , Islington. Link in bio to book.

⚔️ Meet Paladin.

🔥Beneath the great glass roof of the British Museum’s Great Court, Paladin launches into his monologue, opening on a line from Julius Caesar and fully convinced the rest of the speech is every bit as good as anything Shakespeare wrote.

❤️‍🔥All heart and no hesitation - whether the world still runs on those terms is rather the question of the play.

🍉Huge thanks to @britishmuseum for having us.
