Maybe it’s me. That’s what every single woman standing in that line in New York City said to herself today. And they meant it. Maybelline opened a casting call in NYC for real women to be part of a Fit Me campaign. I watched it happen. Women of every shade, every age, every background, all carrying the same quiet belief: maybe this time, a brand actually means it when they say everyone belongs here. That’s what a great brand moment does, give people permission to see themselves somewhere they’ve never seen themselves before. Fit Me has always been about that, but today that idea became a casting call. And a casting call became a cultural moment. I got to experience every part of this activation firsthand. The love in that room from everyone involved, including @yaz21 and @alxhwang was real. You could feel it. As a marketer, I study brand moments for a living. This one? This one I just got to feel. PS: my shade is #122. And I know it’s me. 💄 #Maybelline #FitMe #BrandActivation #CulturalMarketing NYC MulticulturalMarketing CROING BeautyMarketing Representation

@maybelline Casting!!! With this one, something we love at @croing_agency was brought to life: people were put first. Under the leadership of the queen @yaz21, the brand keeps getting closer to people’s hearts. This time, every New Yorker had the opportunity to be part of their next campaign. I loved seeing people of all ages and from all walks of life come together to find their perfect fit, including @anggiecsalazar and my dad @salazarmiguel23!! 🤭 They made everyone feel like a top model, from the casting to the final shot. There were photo sets, Polaroids that gave major casting vibes, all with the streets of Soho as the backdrop, perfectly timed for New York Fashion Week. Every little detail made you feel like you were stepping into the world of possibilities that Maybelline creates. 40 shades. 40 fits. 1 city: New York 👏 On the casting form, they asked about your favorite coffee (mine: iced tiramisu latte ☕️), and your favorite New York neighborhood. As @milistorto says, they’re all my favorites, but I went with Upper East Side, porque ajá, amo. Maybe I get to be the next face of Maybelline New York. Maybe it’s me? Maybe it’s Maybelline💋 #brand #latinacreator #nyfw
