Ok‼️ I Wasn’t Going to Address this Topic About Detroit Music Being Dead & Sounding the Same Etc. But, So Many People Have tagged or Dm Me About it & Who Would I Be if I Didn’t Use My Voice/Platform to Speak Up for Myself & Others Like Me in the Game‼️ Everybody has their own opinion and experience but, we here to talk about 💎 As of 10/15/2018 I’ve been doing music for 8 years consistently! Never took a week, let alone a month or year off from Music & My Craft! I’ve Always Paid Homage to those before me, showed love on remixes, tapped in to do work etc. But I’ve Never Gotten that Same Love or Respect Back from “My Peers” in The Detroit Music Scene! I used to think it was because I didn’t sound like everybody else, or I wasn’t just ds them to where they had to acknowledge me, or maybe it was some type of weird competition 🤷🏽‍♀️ But It’s so much deeper than that. This is a Big City full of Great Music, creatives, talented musicians & it’s at a standstill becuz It’s No Real OGs. Nobody wants to help the next level up. From the Artist to the So called Managers to the Blogs. You can’t book venues here. If you not paying some crazy amount of money or You Don’t Know The Who’s WHO, it’s gone Take a Longer Time for You to Get Seen a lil Bit. I Literally Had to Move to LA & Become 1 of the First Artist to Get on Netflix & Showcase My Talents for Anybody to Ever Say My Name‼️ Even then, They will still act like they don’t know I’m the 1️⃣ but, I think it’s becuz they believe I already made it & don’t need resources. That’s 🧢 I took what I got from being on TV & built a Brand & Legacy in Honor of My Brothers Dream! It’s Always been deeper than music. Immediately, after the show I had My 1st Headlining Concert & Had 18 upcoming artist perform. I’ve done so many features & showed love to artist from My City off the Strength cuz I always wanted someone to do that for Me. But it’s only so many real ones in this industry! Nobody Owes Us Anything, But Don’t Ever Give Up Becuz a Mf that should Embrace You Don’t‼️ All the Upcoming Artist or Established Underground Artist, Keep Going Up ⭐️
