@amya_the_pict and i met five years ago in #nashville while we were both doing some #solotravel. since we stayed in the same hostel, we decided to stick together for a few days to explore (and try on some big hats). over the years we’ve kept in touch, but the pandemic and living so far apart made it difficult to see each other. then teri met cody, and the next thing i know, im taking three planes to watch my dear canadian friend tie the knot after five years apart. i spent five days staying with her family in #saskatoon and it felt like i had always known them - spending time crafting centerpieces, picking fresh raspberries from the orchard, baking desserts, boating along the saskatchewan river, setting up the reception hall and sharing laughs in the yard. i also met teri’s #SCA family and wore the appropriate garb to participate in wedding festivities with some medieval flair (y’all can call me lady georgia from now on) ⚔️👸🏽 thank you all so much for your generous hospitality, new experiences (night lunch, anyone?) and wonderful memories in the city of bridges 🇨🇦❤️ #neenzdoes #ontherun #ohcanada #saskatchewan #cityofbridges @dilettachinradio @yblock5 @gori11a @daniel_block @zozzer10 @j.k_knits @jmeowmix @joshdoespuzzles @codyredekop
