NYFF International July 3/4 '26. Another weekend of lessons and showing up for one another. Such a diverse group of athletes on these fields this weekend with amazing talent all around. These girls played with fire in their hearts and held their own. Forever proud, of not only our girl, but all the girls. ♡

Battle in the Capital! While we didn't place this time around, these girls put up a fight! Nice to see the U14 Champs in our Fire Family! Thanks @ottawawf for putting on a great tournament! Hungry for the next one!

Teamwork. To say these girls gave it their all would be an understatement. Through rain that felt like ice and with no dry clothes left to change into, they battled their way all the way to the semi-finals. As a brand new team and true underdogs, they came together like family and played with unwavering heart, determination, and resilience. They fought for one another every step of the way, never giving up no matter the conditions or challenges they faced. The support, encouragement, and love they showed their teammates was truly immeasurable, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them. Their perseverance and spirit are something special, and this is only the beginning for this incredible group of girls. #HALTONFIRE #FIRESTRONG

One of the many speeches Coach Chris gave to our U14 Sparks girls throughout the Welland Tournament on January 2, 2026. The team consisted of a few players from our U14 Fire squad with additional players from our Developmental Program. With very little practice time as a team going into the tournament, they were able to make it all the way to the semifinals. They lost to the Niagara Nitros in overtime conversions. We scored on our 1-point conversion, and the Nitros scored on their 2-point conversion to win by 1 point. We won't settle for being "lucky"; these girls played with fire behind great coaching from Coach Chris and Coach Brian. It is only upwards and onwards for these girls in 2026. #flagfootball #haltonfire #girlsinsports #footballgirls #footballlife

Here are some pics of the U14 Halton Fire Girls from the Hangar tournament on Nov 8th, 2025. It was an early start and a cold one at that. Ask Lily (Halton Fire U12) as she tried her best to stay warm while cheering on the girls. It took us a while to get rolling, but it all came together thanks to our defense, especially, who were absolutely dialed in. More to come!!! #flagfootball #haltonfire
