16 year old Kaylin “Kj” Johnson was one of two teens shot and killed in broad daylight at 56th and Vine in West Philadelphia July 21, 2021. September 8th Kaylin would’ve been 21 years old. He never left without reminding his family and friends how much he loved them, a small gesture that showed just how big his heart truly was. KJ lived life with passion and energy, pouring himself into everything he did. A true jack of all trades no matter what it was he did it with determination, heart, and joy. Although dancing wasn’t his strongest talent, that never stopped KJ from jumping into a dance challenge or making a silly video with his sister. His light-hearted spirit was contagious, and his warm, unforgettable smile could lift anyone’s mood. He dreamed of going to college, building a future for himself and the people he loved.

Today Kaylin “KJ” Johnson would’ve been 19 years old, he was shot and murdered in a vehicle while on his way to play basketball with friends when he was only 16 years old. He did whatever he put his mind to acting, rapping , tons of sports, & dirtbike riding. KJ also had a smile that will make your day, he was a loving child, he made sure everyone he encountered felt that love. Sending love to his family and friends🩵.
