Like two peas in a pod… except one of us is a little louder, a little bossier, and always “borrows” the other’s clothes without asking (I’ll let you guess which one 🙃).

She’s my best friend, my built-in cheerleader, and the only person who can make me laugh so hard I forget why I was mad at her five minutes ago. We’ve been through every high, every low, and every ridiculous “what were we thinking?” moment together — and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Still smiling from the best July 4th weekend! 🤠 My sister @baskingntheglow did that with her cowboy-themed bash—hay stacks, cowboy hats, and line dancing all night long. The southern-style cookout was chef’s kiss, and the real highlight? Watching mom @yejidebarbaragentry slay the line dances in her fly cowgirl fit! 💃🏽🐎

We celebrated Cheryl, Jordan, Josh, and Kevin’s birthdays in true country style, then caught the fireworks at Ft. Lauderdale Beach and then went to Cheryl’s to end the night with a bang. 🎆🎉

Huge thank you to @iamchuckbone and @dad_dad_three for making it all extra special with the fireworks show. I’m sure the neighbors weren’t too happy! My family and friends had an absolute ball—memories made, laughs shared, and boots definitely scooted. 🇺🇸🔥

She’s Cancer-Free!

With a heart full of gratitude and my eyes still brimming with joyful tears, I’m overjoyed to share that my mom is officially cancer-free.

These past months have been a journey of faith, strength, and deep love. From the moment we received the diagnosis, we were surrounded by an army of support—prayers that lifted us, calls that reminded us we weren’t alone, texts that made us smile on the hardest days, and visits that warmed her spirit.

To those who lovingly cooked meals, shared healing recipes, and helped guide her through her diet—thank you. You gave her nourishment, not just for her body, but for her soul.

To our family, friends, caregivers, and prayer warriors—you showed up. Again and again. Your presence, energy, and love helped carry us through.

We don’t take any of it for granted. Your support helped heal more than just her body—it strengthened our entire family.

I'm grateful for treasured memories with Mom, though she's not with us this year. We left a seat open for her. I felt her spirit, especially in Carla's beautiful prayer. Gratitude for blessings from in-laws and friends. The delicious food hit the spot. Thankful to God for granting us another day.
