yells yells yells. my sweetest yellie<3 the coolest gal in all of town. the real cool knew yells was the coolest of cool. its that’s simply. swagged so hard it blew me away. brilliant, creative, beautiful, loving, brave, strong, silly, clever, adventurous. the list goes on. a true icon. i remember when syd first introduced me to you & meals, i immediately felt like i hit the cool girl lotto. your taste like no other, a natural curator of life, of art, of style, of love, of community. so fiercely loyal to your people.

i miss squeezing you, giggling with you, holding your hand, dancing alongside you & of course fan girling over our star boi turniee together. you were a party bby girl. my favorite mermaid to ever exist. fishies 4 lyfe. i will be looking for you in every wildflower i see, in every lil visitor you send, in every lake i dip in & in every tree i hug.

almost a month without you & your presence is stronger than ever. i see you everywhere. i feel your guidance. i hear your messages & i look forward to expanding our love in new ways. my sweetest angel yella - i love you endlessly in this life & each one to follow <3

Deep loss is never a straight line. Navigating this grief in a world that doesn’t slow down and doesn’t seem to realize that nothing is the same. It’s isolating. It’s infuriating. But the beauty remains. I see you in all of it D. Every work of art, every sunset, everything beautiful and messy. My heart is with everyone grieving the loss of our girl.

It doesn't make sense that the world can exist without Daniela in it. And I don't think it ever will. Someone so incredibly bright that shined her love and support endlessly no matter how far you were from her physically. Remembering every birthday, checking in with us no matter how long it had been since we had last seen you, always making everyone feel so special..just knowing she was out there living her authentic magic made life feel better. So now life doesn't feel the same. I love you Daniela. Thank you thank you thank you for loving so fiercely. For gracing us with your love. I just always thought Lua would get to know you, that she would feel so cool just being friends with @yelllaaaa.

I am so so so sorry for her family who she so obviously adored with her whole being and all of her best friends whose lives she made endlessly brighter. You were supposed to grow old together and no words will ever make sense of this devastating heartbreak. Please know Daniela will always be a name we lovingly honor and dance to in our home. To anyone who loved Yella, we love you too. So much.

Daniela, you are one of one. Endlessly curious, adventurous, creative, loyal, and spirited. Your zest for life was contagious, and you had this beautiful way of making every friend feel like your best friend, no matter how many miles were between you. I’m not sure how to express in words the pain I feel from your loss. We became friends instantly and went on the most fun and amazing adventures. Your spark for life was contagious and you could always make me laugh and smile no matter what I was going through. Never has there been a more loyal friend than you. All of my favorite memories from Colorado have you in them. I feel so blessed to have known you and I’m shattered that you are gone.
