Come to yummy UMAMI with us for a goodbye lunch for Gretel, one of our most treasured friends, who is moving to Australia! So far away, guys! Like, isn’t that on the other side of the universe or something? 🤨

BTW, Gretel, Alexis, and I decided to try to text each other a photo from our own side of the universe on the same day at the same hour once a week! Stay tuned because I will be sharing!

G’day, mate!

Huge thanks to t-shirt designer Gretel Beal Williams—and to John & Monica Woolley, their incredible print shop team, and everyone who supported this project from day one!

Following the Mother’s Day T-shirt launch, we’re honored to receive a donation of 15% of proceeds—supporting our mission to empower single moms through the Live Your Dream Foundation.

Gretel, thank you for leading with heart and turning your talent into purpose. This was more than a shirt—it was a movement. 💛

🤎Yesterday’s Ladies Who Lunch luncheon filled my bucket, enriched my soul, and nearly made my heart explode with ever-increasing fondness for each of these women! Being with these extraordinary beauties is like manna from heaven, and my gratitude for each of them and their friendship—both new and established—cannot be overstated.

🤎As you scroll through the photos, you will see women who have faced struggles, loss, heartache, who have experienced joys, triumphs, and peace. And, I love each of them dearly for all of the things I have learned from them as they have opened their arms and their hearts to me.

🤎I am fantastically and inexplicably blessed!

🤎Please consider coming to our Ladies Who Lunch next month, my friends! Now, once again for the people in the back: EVERYONE IS WELCOME, INVITED, WANTED, NEEDED!

🤎P.S. I did three giveaways, and the winners were: 1) The person whose birthday was the closest to yesterday (August 1st); 2) the person who had most recently visited the dentist (Tuesday); 3) the person who had gotten the least amount of sleep the night prior (four hours)! I will be doing another round of giveaways next month, so let this basically be a bribe to coerce you to join us! *heh-heh*

🤎P.P.S. More bribery!➡️ I also gave every fabulous lady a candybar of their choice—an Idaho Spud or a Rocky Road! (Scroll to see the tags I made.) These old-time favorites of mine were purchased at my darling, quaint, wonderful, folksy, charming grocery store, @springvillereams! I love that store with all of my heart!

Our pose for the photo at last week’s Fun Girls™️ adventure reminds me of sumpin’. Hmm. *think think think* What? Hmm. Could it be… (and, here’s where you swipe to see how my brain works😝💀):

Despite the fact that TOSSD SALADS & BOWLS contains a pesky misspelling, I highly recommend this new-to-me restaurant! Its tag line is, “Above all else eat well“ (my kingdom for a comma👀), and that is exactly what one does when dining here. The food was delicious, and, surprise, surprise, the company and conversation were even better! The Fun Girls™️ did it again, bringing all the tea, all the laughs, all the spice, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Where shall we go next week? Chubby’s, Chipotle, Umami, Swig, Slab Pizza, Brooker’s Ice Cream? Where would you go?

💨🥤💨Swipe for a few recent Mondays with The Fun Girls™️! The locations change, and sometimes one or another Fun Girl™️ can’t make it, but we keep up our weekly soda runs as best as we can, because, why not? Who doesn’t need to be with entertaining, delightful, spilling-the-tea, and super-caring pals at least once a week?! I know I sure do, yo! Also! The beignets at @thirstdrinks are absolutely scrummy-scrumptious! Holy, holy, you should go there just for those!🫦

I don’t even know how to put into words how grateful I am—for everything everyone has done for me, and the ways you’ve shown up during such a meaningful chapter of my life.

As we get older, it’s easy to take what we have for granted. The world feels bigger, our goals stretch further, and we learn what we’re capable of when we step outside our comfort zones. That often means growing apart, making new memories in new places with new people—and I’m thankful for all of that too.

But every once in a while, life hands us a reason to come back together. And those are the moments I live for now. When we get to return to our comfort zones, with the people who feel like home, and for just a little while—nothing else matters.

So thank you. For your time (because I know how precious that is), your money (because I know how hard you work), and your energy (because let’s be real, we’re all running a little low on that these days).

I wish I could post every single photo from these moments, but please know—if you’re not pictured here, you still live on forever in my scrapbook and my heart.

I love you all.
