We felt right at home in @yellowrose.nyc 💛

Thank you for the South Texas-style breakfast tacos, veggies options, a taste of home, and some Spurs pride.☺️

A new fave NYC spot, for sure.

This is SAME PAGE: our interview series where we ask some of our favorite book people about their favorite things that aren’t books. So we can all get on the SAME PAGE. 🤲

Alison Leiby is a two-time WGA Award–nominated writer and co-host of the podcast Ruined . Her critically acclaimed solo show Oh God, A Show About Abortion, which ran at the Cherry Lane Theatre, was named the Best Political Comedy of the year by The New York Times. Her new memoir-in-essays, I’m A Lot, is out now via @thedialpress!

Alison’s perfect NYC meal is a bean and cheese taco and a classic margarita at Yellow Rose. She is known to send an esoteric emoji and would like a BREAK from optimization. Let things just exist!!!

The dairymaxxing continues but this time, we’re focused on bean and cheese burritos. 🌯🌯🌯 How many burritos can one man eat? Plot twist it’s a lucky number.
