When the night reaches its peak, Máni saves the closing moment for the weight of the sound. In a front to front that brings legacies together, Yellow-Stripe, represented by C-Netik, meets Nerve Attack, represented by Blast. Two worlds shaped by a raw and demanding vision of Drum & Bass, where heavier and more aggressive sounds have always defined the path. An intense, unfiltered exchange built on experience, control of sonic weight, and the ability to push the dancefloor to its precise limit. On January 17th, this front to front closes the journey, with the moon high and the energy fully released. 🌕 🎟️ Tickets: cravetherave.org/tickets (link in bio) 🔗 Join our WhatsApp community for news and exclusive offers (link in bio)

Blast, born in, and residing in the city of Porto, is a DJ, producer, and one of the main drivers of the Drum and Bass movement in our country. He was recognized from an early age as one of the DJs most committed to the constant evolution of his technique, since his early vinyl days, which he was already using on a 3 deck setup, becoming an inspiration and reference for his generation and those that followed, both through the countless and energetic sets he performed live, as well as through the demonstration of his routines in videos he made, in order to share his technique and knowledge, actively contributing to the growth of the national quality, when it comes to to the art of mixing Drum and Bass music. His versatility is a factor that reinforces his status in Portugal and in some cases, across borders, being an avid collector and appreciator of all the subgenres that make up the universe in which he finds himself, and which ranges from the most minimal styles, such as autonomic, to the opposite extreme, which corresponds to the heaviest genres, mainly Techno-DnB. It was, however, on the latter that he concentrated most of his focus, for more than 15 years, as an integral member of the collective of artists at Yellow-Stripe, a record label and event promoter created in the same city, which was the main promoter of the heaviest trends in Portugal. In 2019, he co-founded Surveillance Music, a label which has released music by some of the most promising international talents within Drum and Bass, with a more futuristic aesthetic, in parallel with some of the most established names within the same panorama. In addition to the contributions to the genre mentioned above, Blast has also been very active in the field of production, being a tireless contributor to the reestablishment of Techno-DnB, a subgenre that is so dear to him, and whose development he has followed since its beginnings. In 2024, he began his solo event production and promotion brand, which stands by the name of "Nerve Attack", paying homage to some of the most important figures who originated the genre, and in this way, reminding its creator of his origins. Jump starting his artist career in Therapy Sessions Portugal events back in 2006 after he began taking up music production in a serious manner, C-Netik quickly made an impact on the local Drum & Bass scene. Rising through the ranks as he joined Yellow Stripe, and performing at numerous events, he deeply influenced the Portuguese movement's darker and harder side, which amassed a loyal following over time. Eventually co-founding Yellow Stripe Recordings and successfully releasing music by himself, the YS roster and most of the scene's biggest hitters, C-Netik and YSR's impact over the years has been memorable. Following a string of releases on Yellow Stripe, PRSPCT and other labels back in the early 2010s, as well as landing in the Masters of Hardcore TOP 100 with 'Retrofit', the next few years were very productive with plenty of new original works and collaborations with the likes of Cooh, Bratkilla, Sinister Souls, Switch Technique, his YS comrades and more, and releases on legendary labels like Industrial Strength and several others followed. C-Netik has played alongside most of the D&B and Hardcore scene's biggest names, from The Panacea, Noisia or Andy C, to Angerfist, Mad Dog or The Outside Agency, and regularly features in internationally renowned events. He has showcased his brand of music all over Europe and as far as Colombia and Japan, currently being requested to visit even more countries for the first time. C-Netik performed at some of the biggest harder styles events like Dominator, Q-Base, Decibel and PRSPCTXL over the years, further cementing his position in Hardcore Drum & Bass history. Fast-forward to present day - after some of his hardest releases yet in past years, the new experimental sounds of C-Netik's D&B, Hardcore Techno and other reinventions are ready to be mixed up with new originals, collaborations and remix work, as he prepares new releases unrestricted by genres or styles, an approach also to be applied in his live performances going forward. Tomorrow, at @gareporto
