the newly reopened basac is BACK and you need to come for their fried fish sando!! the fish is actually HUGE, insanely crispy on the outside while still being super tender and juicy inside, topped with a creamy tangy sauce that brings everything together. literally look at how much the fish hangs off the bun 😭 definitely the star of the meal and something i’d come back for!!

they also have all the korean comfort food you could want, from warm udon with thick chewy noodles and a light savory broth to tteokbokki loaded with chewy rice cakes and fried cheese balls in that rich spicy/sweet sauce. we also got their tempura platter with a huge variety of crispy veggies and shrimp, plus kimbap packed with so many different fillings.

everything was so comforting and satisfying, especially now that the weather is getting colder, but seriously DO NOT leave without trying that fish sando. the size, the crunch, the sauce. sooo good

I’m back at Maiko Matcha @maikomatchanyc at @tangramnyc Mall to try their new fall pistachio treats! I loved my Hojicha Salted Pistachio Cloud ☁️ and my little one enjoyed her pistachio and vanilla parfait 🍨 . We also ordered our usual iced matcha latte 🍵 , which is consistently good and the Coconut Salted Pistachio Cloud which was really refreshing. Celebrate Fall and stop by to try their new drinks!

I found a place where you can work on your swing AND reward yourself with seriously delicious Sichuan food afterward—and honestly, that’s my kind of productivity.

Alley Pond Golf Center in Douglaston is more than just a place to practice your golf. After the renovation, the center offers a driving range, golf simulators, lessons, mini golf, and a full restaurant and bar.

And the food surprised me! Their restaurant serves authentic Sichuan cuisine alongside other dishes, bringing bold, spicy, aromatic flavors to the table. 🌶️🥢 It’s such an unexpected combination—you can spend the afternoon working on your swing, then sit down for a flavorful meal and make the whole outing feel like a proper day out.

Honestly, I support any activity that lets me say, “I earned this meal.” 😂
