It's my favorite time of year again where I get create, paint, beautify and rock out with some beautiful ladies.

The crew will be cooking up something special for the neighborhood. Thank you @wencod @silo1ne_fx and the entire @booneavewalls crew for putting on a spectacular event for the people of the Bronx.

Same wall, same energy, same love!

Dear Hip Hop,
I never knew what I would become
All those days playing in the sun
Picking up cans of paint just for fun
Tagging my name for a bit of fame
Like a Hollywood star in a fancy car

Now look at what I've become
A mentor, a student, a poor righteous teacher, a leader, a speaker, with paint on my sneaker.

Even when the days seem bleaker
and my heart feels a bit weaker
I turn the music up on my speaker
And I hear you say
Whose world is this?
The world is yours, the world is yours
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
(It's yours)

Thank you Hip Hop.
With Love and Gratitude,

KayLove

Moments in Time
Make them count because life is too short without a doubt.
Do what you love, share your love and knowledge and spend time with those who matter.

This is all we got.
Right here.
Right now.
Not tomorrow.
Now.

Confident and secure with whom I am.
Whom I'm attracted to, and my sexual preference doesn't define me. It is just a part of me.
I don't need a label, a box, or a month to feel accepted, nor do I seek validation from anyone other than myself.
How I live my life and the pursuit of my happiness is not contingent upon anyones checklist of what it is to be gay. It is contigent upon the universal laws of love and compassion.

May you all accept yourself.
May you all love yourself.
May you all be kind.

Gay, straight or in between, may you all shine.

Round 1: Just some of the phenomenal, dope, loving, strong, compassionate, and beautiful women in my life who are not afraid to be unapologetically and authentically themselves. They have, in their own unique ways, inspired me and shown me LOVE, strength, and unwavering loyalty during some of the most difficult and rewarding times in my life.

I LOVE YOU ALL!

October flew by quicker than a witch on her broomstick, heading home, ready to play Mariah Carey's Christmas album.

The thinning of the veil revealed much, not to my surprise. It is affirming to me that healing and the inner work that it takes is an ongoing process that has no timeline. Our inner child and its past haunts will continue to manifest itself in how we navigate our current relationships. Whether intimate, familiar, or platonic until we face them and ourselves with honesty gracefully, we will wind up running back into our rooms, that safe space we always knew.

I am thankful and very grateful for the opportunities I have been given to share my passion, for the grace, trust and love my family and friends have bestowed upon me, for the acceptance of who I am wholeheartedly, for the patience you all have shown me, for the land that calls and inspires me and for the guidance from my ancestors who continues to protect me.

It's crazy out there. Don't lose yourself.
LOVE, HEALING, and a BIG HUG TO YOU!

Pintar y sanar con mi manita @quanyinn

School is now in session:

Since 2019, hundreds
of schools have closed across
Puerto Rico. Their ruins are among
the most visible evidence of the
island’s vicious circle of poor
governance, neglect by Washington
and environmental catastrophe.

Most of the damage is the result of the catastrophic 2017 hurricane season, when Hurricanes Irma and Maria blasted through, wrecking homes and destroying the islands’ archaic electrical grid. Over 3,000 Boricua lives were lost due to Maria, her aftermath, and governmental neglect due to incompetency.

The hurricanes weren’t the beginning of the story, though. The disasters compounded a social and economic calamity that has been brewing for over a century. It arguably began in 1898, when United States forces invaded Puerto Rico, then a colony of Spain, during the Spanish-American War. Before the war, Spain had grudgingly granted Puerto Rico limited home rule, an attempt to forestall an independence movement. But with the advent of American rule, Puerto Rico fell deeper into colonial status. The islands’ people could not elect their own governor until 1947. They still can not vote for president and have no voting representation in Congress.

Let us be clear that both wings of the same bird and their policies have contributed to the atrocities that take place on the island. That bird has been pecking on the neck of Boricuas for far too long. None of them are here to save you. NONE. They haven't yet have they?

It's time mi gente. It is time.

( I will delete and block anyone spewing any political party endorsement on my page)
