𝐋𝐎 𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐑É 🏃🏻‍♂️🧠💪🏼❤️‍🩹
Hace dos años escribí un texto que decía: “Seré en algún momento maratonista? Veremos que pasa…”
Sinceramente no lo puedo creer, de todas las veces que me imaginé este momento, la mayoría me daba miedo y una sensación en el cuerpo/mente de que era casi imposible correr 42KM. Pero es increíble hasta donde puede llegar el cuerpo y superar esos límites si uno se lo propone.
Hoy no era una carrera más, era LA carrera. Algo que tenía pendiente, algo que me pesaba y no pude hacer desde hace dos años.
Correr me salvó la vida, sanó muchas cosas que solo no iba a poder. Superarme año tras año, me hizo volver a confiar en mí y creer que puedo.
Gracias a todos los que estuvieron durante este proceso. A los que me acompañaron, me bancaron, me motivaron, me escucharon hablar de kilómetros hasta el cansancio y a los que confiaron en mí incluso cuando yo no lo hacía.

Gracias a @preto.sport que me ayudó a cumplir este gran objetivo que tanto anhelaba. Me abrieron sus puertas. Me enseñaron a poder disfrutar de correr y a hacerlo sin dolor. Desde que empecé, sufrí muchas lesiones y eso por no hacer las cosas bien. Gracias a este hermoso grupo, pude disfrutar del proceso.

Gracias a mi hermano y mi suegro por acompañarme en la carrera y darme las fuerzas suficientes para lograr lo que había ido a buscar. Fueron personas claves en toda este hermosa locura.

Gracias a todas las personas que se hicieron presentes hoy, familia y amigos. Hermoso sentirse acompañado y para mí, apoyar y más de forma presencial, vale el triple.

Y gracias a mí también.
Por haber elegido seguir.
Por haber transformado tantas cosas en kilómetros.
Por no haberme rendido.

Hace dos años me preguntaba si algún día sería maratonista.

Hoy puedo decirlo: LO LOGRÉ. ❤️‍🩹🏃🏻‍♂️

“When destiny calls you, you must be strong”, that’s what I thought when I found out about getting the contract with AIDA, I knew it was going to be challenging, I knew it was going to be fun, but I didn’t know that I was about to meet people that would become my new family!

In most of my adventures around the world I traveled by myself but “tonight for the first time” I had the pleasure to share this one with this new family.

“How do you measure the life of a woman or a man?” in nights in rec room or in “nights in white satin”, my pies, my sanger lengers and dancer lengers, I don’t know how to measure life, but one thing I know “you will be in my heart always”.

Now that “schools out for summer”, not forever I may say, “let’s freeze this moment forever” it really was as good as it gets, now lock in Athos because “hinterm horizont geht’s weiter ein neuer tag”

You guys made my first contract with AIDA not only a memorable moment but a life changing experience. LOVE YOU ALL

This experience was once in a lifetime. I’m so grateful to @aidacasting and @glenn_fl for believing in me and allowing me to live my wildest dreams. How do you summarize a single contract that fulfilled so many firsts and allowed you to achieve things you didn’t realize you wanted or needed? It’s nearly impossible to find the words but I’ll save most of those words for the incredible talents that I was so honored to share the stage with. Each and every person now occupies so much space in my heart making this such a difficult goodbye, but I know it’s never an official goodbye rather a see you later😌 To my beautiful AIDAperla cast, just know you all have a home in New Jersey now and I will forever be anticipating the day we can occupy the same space again. You guys are magic personified and this experience wouldn’t have been the same without each and every person that I was so fortunate to live with for the past few months🫶🏽 til we meet again❤️ Love, Baby J
