It amazes us every time.

New faces. Old faces. Friends we share and ones we are yet to make. People doing impactful work in this city that you may not know about, until you find yourself in the same room as them.

There was something in the air at this year’s edition. Joy, playfulness, connection. You came through the doors with not just curiosity to what was inside the ciné soirée, but pride that you were a part of it. The walls were covered in inner dialogue from artists not afraid to share their vision. Some may call it a distinct artistic accent. Otherwise known as scouse.

The work on the walls was coherent, elegant, and unmistakably of this place.

At one point I said I wasn’t sure what my art form is. But that room, filled with you, was a piece of art in itself.

If I can keep creating spaces where you come together and look as stunning as the work on the walls, I’ll keep scheming.

But I need your help in making these spots our own. So keep creating. keep supporting. keep platforming. let the connection come naturally.

We’ve tripled the room since we started, and we’re not going anywhere.
