Last Tuesday I dropped 500 flyers on doorsteps around my house in Magnolia Park, Burbank, the neighborhood I love and serve as a Realtor, to galvanize our community to help how we could, with the kids in mind who lost all their toys two weeks after Christmas. Wow, people showed up. Two large SUVs full of toys in just two hours for those kids.

People are good and want to help. Everyone can do something, even if it’s sending a positive thought or prayer to those in need because everything is energy and even that will create more good at this time it’s needed.

If you want to help more, I am also working with @zellosupport to help people find housing with many of my Keller Williams colleagues offering their services completely pro bono.

In addition, @zellosupport is also helping them get free furniture for their new homes, generously donated by the movie studios here that have warehouses full of set decoration furniture - all free.

And we need more #kellerwilliams agents to raise their hand and take on a person or family needing housing assistance right now, in a volunteer capacity.

The way people and businesses are showing up is a testament to the love Angelenos have for their city and community. It takes a village. #lastrong

I was recently awarded #1 Agent in Closed Transactions in my brokerage for 2023. ☺️🙌

I’ve been so busy I haven’t taken a pause to share and extend my thanks. But it’s important that we acknowledge all the hard work we’ve done and allow ourselves to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

I am extremely grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to work with really wonderful clients and I appreciate deeply anyone who referred me to someone they knew who needed a realtor last year. Trust is monumental.

I have witnessed that real estate, which is almost certainly the largest asset we will ever own and will need to transact in our lifetime, must be done with caution and confidence in whom we are hiring to guide us.

When I reflect on my clients from last year, or any time really, it’s such a two-way street. I hear them and make sure I feel I’m moving them in the direction of their goals, and I’m very honest with them, good, bad or ugly. I’m always making sure their best interests are being served, and with that as a given, I am bold in my communications to them and on behalf of them. I trust them as much as they trust me.

Grazie to all the people in my life that help support me: number one @yesgerren - he always tells me I’d last 3 days being married to me so there ya go 🤣 …he lets me follow my heart and helps me however and whenever he can and it’s been so amazing getting to work so closely with him across all our businesses the past 18 months.

From my assistant, to my Transaction Coordinator, to my broker, to other agents who have shared knowledge with me and worked side by side with me in a professional, cooperative manner…thank you!

And to my other working mom friends who inspire me and show me that I can work hard and be successful and still show up as a mom I am proud of…and when I feel I’m screwing up, help remind me that it’s only human and it’s probably a bigger deal in my head than in reality.

Winning an award is very cool and validating and gratifying, but the enjoyment I feel in reflecting on what a gift of a life I have that’s filled with special family, friends, trusted service partners, and clients trumps everything.

🙏🫶🏡
