My dearest Josh, It’s been a year without you. It’s been quiet and a little lonely at times, but Annie and I have been comforting each other, whether it’s wearing your clothes, using your stuff, or sleeping on your side of the bed. I start and end my days seeing your face, which reminds me that you’re never far away. But we miss you so much. Every day. We all miss you. All my love, forever… ❤️‍🩹🕊️ RIP Oct.16, 2025 . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer

So I think I’ll bring Josh’s favourite Lego minifig with me and take some photos with him. It’ll be like Josh is with me. 🥰🦖 . #SashaGoesToSouthKorea2026 #solotravel #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #fckcancer

Valentine’s Schmalentine’s. 😝 Thank goodness Josh & I never really celebrated it or else it would be another sad day to get through. It was never important to us because (say it with me) every day is Valentine’s Day. 💕 Anyway, here’s my other Valentine, snoring with her tongue out. Enjoy. 🥰🐶 . #AnnieBanannie 🐶🍌 #dogsofinstagram #muttsofinstagram #adoptdontshop ❤️🏠 #torontohumanesociety

I wasn’t planning on crying today but I just got this in the mail. 🥺 Although Josh’s body wasn’t in great shape at the end, I’m so proud of him for choosing to donate whatever organs he could. I know his beautiful blue-green-hazel eyes were a definite possibility. ❤️‍🩹 Thank you @trilliumgift . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer #TrilliumGiftOfLifeNetwork

Just minutes left of the last day of the last year I got to spend with you. Moving forward without you will be hard but I’ll try my best to find ways to be happy. It’s the one thing you asked of me. Thank you for so many memories from Day 1. I will love you forever, Josh. You will always have the biggest part of my heart. ❤️ #Goodbye2025 #Hello2026 . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer

Since I didn’t end up going to Copenhagen for Josh’s birthday, I thought I’d be a tourist in my own city and went to the ROM to see his favourite dinosaurs, as well as check out their special exhibitions. 🦕🦈🖼️ The exhibit of Flemish artwork was especially nice to visit because it reminded me of our 2018 trip to Belgium, where we got to explore Bruges, Antwerp and our favourite city, Ghent. ❤️🇧🇪 . #Toronto #RoyalOntarioMuseum #HappyHeavenlyBirthdayJosh 💕🕊️

Josh and I loved coming to our nearby @sansoteiramen for anniversaries, birthdays or just because. It’s especially comforting on a bittersweet day like today. ❤️‍🩹🍜 #HappyAnniversary . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer

Happy 15th anniversary, my love. ❤️‍🩹 The time we had together is only a fraction of the long life we had planned. Although you’re no longer with us, I will celebrate today with your memory full in my heart. I love you so much and miss you so much more. . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer Artwork by @tuerannja

Still haven’t had a dream with Josh in it. 😔 Instead, I had my 2nd dream about pottery class. Maybe that’s because I watch so much of @potterytothepeople & @floriangadsby all the time. Today is also my last class. Can’t believe it. 4 classes isn’t enough. I just want to learn & practice more! But it’ll be fun to finally glaze our wonky pieces & see them come to life in a few weeks. . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer @enii_draws

Can’t believe it’s already been a month since you left us. 😔 I’m holding up surprisingly well (most days) but Annie & I miss you all the time. I still want to text you about something funny that happens while I’m out or send you photos of Annie being an idiot or ask you if we need milk or bread since I’m going by the store later. It’s not the same without you and it never will be. I’ll love you forever, Joshiepie. 💔🕊️ . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer

I see why Josh loved his hat. Not only was it a great souvenir from our 2018 visit to Belgium (specifically Brugge), but it’s also so warm! He’d hate that I’m stretching it out with my big head though. 😂❄️ . #rememberingJosh #missingJosh #loveyoumoreandmost #fckcancer #duodenalcancer
