This two-piece jacket and pants set explores the contrast between structure and softness, function and expression. Constructed from a reflective, technical fabric, both pieces feature intentional ruching throughout the sleeves, body, and pant legs, enhancing form while allowing flexibility and movement.

The zip-front jacket is slightly cropped, designed with raglan sleeves, a mandarin collar, and ribbed cuffs and waistband to define the silhouette while supporting ease of movement. Inside, a plaid lining adds an unexpected layer of visual contrast and comfort, referencing traditional tailoring against a modern, urban exterior.

The matching pants echo the jacket’s gathered detailing, with ruching along the legs that creates volume and texture while maintaining a streamlined fit. Finished with a ribbed waist cuff, the set is conceived as a coordinated look that merges utilitarian elements with a futuristic, night-ready streetwear sensibility.

Live Art Duel at @fitnyc in summary:

1)stepped ‘n repeated

2)Elle article with the crew

3)action shot mid-20-minute-round-1/cheeks clinched!

4)a practice draft of what would have been my round one concept (a self portrait) for “Hidden Truth.” Maybe a dress on a @marcjacobs dress would’ve been too meta

5)the initial sketch for my round one piece, themed “The home you carry with you,” not a winner in the execution night of, but a story I want to stay visible in my work for those who are forced to “carry” so much, especially being impacted with coming legislation

6)famous concentration tongue action

7)my easel neighbor, and out 1st place winner, @brookeledda.art who I couldn’t be more happy for, and what a start to your illustration education and career

8)battle armor signed by all my FIT family I couldn’t fit in the room that night 💛

9)duel face

Appreciate all who I got to meet and share this one of a kind experience with; plenty of whom I plan to see in the next year, as I’m out in the work force full time💐
