What up my friends. I’m rebranding my @subtleradio monthly spot to now be under the banner of @bklovesukg . Every month, we’ll be featuring an hour-long mix from some of Brooklyn’s finest. This month, we’ll be featuring a b2b from myself and one of our closest confidants, @sasharomemusic . Brooklyn-based Sasha Rome is bringing cutting edge sounds to the dance-floor through his fresh garage and UK-inspired sound. Fusing genre-bending funky four-on-the-floor, two-step rhythms, and breaks with his own hypnotic guitar riffs and airy synths. He’s had releases with labels @lockedonrecords , @stptmusic and @deeprootrecords as well as remixes for both local and international talent including @qrtrmusic , @vangeogh , and @mazdemusic . Sasha Rome is a New York City live favorite, performing at name venues including @avantgardnerbk , @thelotradio , and @elsewherespace . He is also one of the core members of @bklovesrecs , a local label releasing UK-inspired dance music. Catch the mix live Thursday, 03/26, at 8:00am et / 12:00pm gmt on Subtle Radio. Hope y’all enjoy. #subtleradio #bklovesukg #sasharome #lovelydaze #ukg

back on socials after taking a little break to recharge. but october…wow. what a month. on october 15, i released my debut single peace with the past. something i’ve dreamt about for years. we hit 225 pre-saves (most debut artists average 20–30), landed multiple playlists, and got featured in artist interviews + articles the same week. insane. 1️⃣ pretty much sums up the day after release exhausted & grateful 2️⃣ my song hit #63 on @groover.en top US indie tracks. 3️⃣ handed out the first shirts to my friends @craig_hung + @kylerniko (hoping we co-write a ballad soon 😎). 4️⃣ apparently i’m google-able now. mom, we made it lol. 5️⃣ hung out with the execs + tastemakers at @soundcloud la’s hq. 6️⃣ @elliepaayne made a “peace with the past” pb cookie latte that was so good 7️⃣ an article written by @brettcaps from my hometown newspaper teasing what’s next (hint: leap of faith). 8️⃣ big chillin at the @thebiggchill 🍦 9️⃣ a moment with a “cocker spaniels” book that got cut off in frame 💀 🔟 kreation “destress” juice — the perfect metaphor for october: a big month, but also about returning to center. this next month kicks off a new chapter. i’m starting production on my second single with @nickthestone + @ochitofficial team. can’t wait to keep building from here.

grateful. that’s the only word that comes to mind when i think about this season. i’m an independent artist, but honestly? it doesn’t feel like it. being with @venicemusic has felt like being a signed artist without the label…full creative freedom, real industry guidance, and a team that actually believes in artist development. the crazy part? i only found venice because of an instagram ad. no joke. i clicked, started reading, and found out the founder was troy carter…the guy who helped shape the early careers of lady gaga, john legend, meghan trainor, and charlie puth through his company, The Atom Factory. and here’s the full-circle moment: when i was a kid growing up in LA, i used to walk past that same Atom Factory office every single day on my way to school. i had no idea who was inside, i just remember thinking the name sounded cool. fast forward all these years later…i’m now releasing my debut single through a company troy built. life’s wild like that. from walking past the dream to finally walking into it. full circle 🖤 huge thank you to the @soundcloud team for opening up your space last week and letting artists like me learn from the best in the game. the feedback session, the conversations, the encouragement — i’ll never forget it. my debut single ‘Peace with the Past’ drops October 15. pre-save link’s in bio — we’re almost there. #TristanRay #PeaceWithThePast #VeniceMusic #SoundCloud #CountryArtist #IndependentArtist #NewMusic2025 #SingerSongwriter #FullCircleMoment #tristanraymusic
