When I became Miss Northwestern Ohio, I never wanted to come off as a perfectly curated titleholder. I wanted to be real, showing that anyone can do hard things, even if life throws every possible thing at you to stop. Being Miss Northwestern Ohio gave me many appearances and opportunities I wouldn’t have otherwise had. However, I also had to learn to navigate some life changing experiences during this time, including being diagnosed with a chronic illness, and going through four losses during this time.

This title was honestly the biggest learning experience, and my experience at Miss Ohio week challenged me in so many ways I never thought I could be challenged. Looking back at who I was when I applied for this title, after spending the day in the emergency room, I can say that I’m not the same person I used to be. I wouldn’t trade my experience as Miss Northwestern Ohio for the world, and I can’t wait to keep growing and working through CARE🩵

Thank you all for your support during my time as Miss Northwestern Ohio. I don’t want to call this a farewell as the work of a titleholder should never stop, even when the crown comes off, but I invite you to follow @childrensareorg and @yikesitscorri to stay up to date with everything I’m up to!

Forever your Miss Northwestern Ohio 2026👑

The Upward Sports flag football season flew by! Our youth league hit capacity, and we even had a special guest for our championship game to celebrate America 250, state representative Haraz Ghanbari! Congratulations to the Tigers on being the 2026 league champions, and thank you to the volunteers, parents, athletes, and local community for the support over this past season!🏈🏆

I was able to volunteer at my local church’s Vacation Bible School, making snacks for the kids. My hands definitely got a little messy from making the snacks, and the America themed shaved ice cups were a huge hit with the kids!🇺🇸

My summer teddy bear drive with Kada’s Promise officially wrapped up! Thank you to all the teddy bear donors! Two ridiculously overflowing boxes of teddy bears were delivered to a local children’s advocacy center in Toledo! At this advocacy center, a child going through a forensic interview gets to take a teddy bear with them afterwards!🧸🩷

It’s always a fun time at the Wood County Fair, and this year didn’t disappoint!🐄

I was so excited to be able to support some of the Special Olympics players from the Wood County Wildcats as they participated in the Ring of Dreams livestock show. The energy was truly unmatched and all the participants and 4H kiddos did amazing!🍀

No regrets having the fair as my last appearance before Miss Ohio Volunteer. Seeing the community within this county grounds me more in wanting to further serve those around me🤍

Tomorrow, I officially MOOOOOOve in for Miss Ohio Volunteer 👑🩵✨

Last week, I had the opportunity to help out at the St. Jude Dream Home where I counted 271 people touring the home during my shift!!🏠 I love conversing with all the guests touring the home, and I was able to get my greetings down to a science😉

Though I was only answering the front door for a few hours, I found out this campaign raised about $2.2 million for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!!🎟️🤍

Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, entered the giveaways, and continuously shows up to support St. Jude. Thank you to Buckeye Real Estate Group for the zero-cost build, and thank you to all the giveaway sponsors for making this possible!

Every part of this campaign was a step toward helping a child enduring cancer, and I was honored to play a part in it❤️

What is service like behind the scenes? When I dropped teddy bears off to a children’s advocacy center, there were quite a few trips involved to get the bears in my car and into the building🧸😅

There were times I was holding 12 bears at a time, potentially confusing my neighbors as to why I had so many bears. So yes, while the posed volunteer photos can look cute, volunteering actually looks a lot like running around and maybe getting a little out of breath (for me at least, this is typical)😂

A BEAR-y big thank you to all who donated teddy bears!🧸 Yesterday, I was able to drop off a few (overflowing) boxes of bears to the local children’s advocacy center.

Everytime a child comes through and needs to do a forensic interview, they leave with a teddy bear! Any meaningful gesture to provide comfort during a potentially very scary time🩵

Sorry if I’m giving you an ear worm🪱 but I just had to stop by and help with my local church’s Vacation Bible School.

I was able to showcase my food decorating abilities (with help) and I opened a lot of water bottles (also with help 😅). It’s so fun serving up these themed snacks for the kiddos each day. There was even a snow cone machine… peep the patriotic snow cone!!🇺🇸😏

And with that, our Upward Sports flag football rookie season is complete🏈 but don’t give me all the credit…

Huge shoutout to my fiancé, Henry. Doing this league with you has been a blessing, and thank you for all you’ve poured into this🤍

Thank you to state representative Haraz Ghanbari @harazghanbari for making a special appearance at our championship game and doing the coin toss.

Thank you to all the coaches and referees who’ve dedicated their time to making all the practices and games happen. We were glad to provide our players with great role models.

Thank you to all our players from all four teams for showing up and putting your all into these practices and games, and showing true sportsmanship at such a young age.

And thank you to all our volunteers, our parents, and our community who showed up to cheer on our teams!

This season may be over, but as of last night, we’ve already starting planning for next summer😉 @upwardsports
