“Farfalla is about the private moment after the transformation, when you have already emerged but are not ready to show everyone yet. It feels like testing your wings at night, with cicadas around you and the distant pulse of a club.”

Farfalla is out now, ready to fly into the world 🦋🥹wanna hear it?

farfalla was born during one of my summers in italy, close to san carlo.

at night, i loved lying on the warm stones of the veranda, looking at the night sky and waiting for shooting stars.

in the mornings, i took my pads and my computer to a little table under an olive tree, where i would spend the whole morning writing this song. it was my little world, a space i had created where i could feel connected to myself, and it was wonderful to look at and listen to this landscape while hearing the song come to life alongside it.

so i left a lot of those sounds in the song, and i hope you’ll also feel the warm nights, the shimmering lights of a coastal town in the distance, sparkling like a diamond necklace, the yellow butterflies in the warmth of the morning sun, and the feeling of salty hair.

i hope it creates a space for you too: to dance, to feel the wind beneath your wings, and to combine your own sounds with the song.

now it’s yours to ride along with 🦋
