The @sfcamerawork TAPE UP exhibition was jam-packed with amazing art, artists, and unsuspecting visitors from the Fort Mason Art Walk.

Having joined the organization only a few weeks before its brush with permanent closure, I was relieved and inspired to see the outpouring of support that gave it a new lease on life.

Photography is, among many other things, community.

@heymanfoto’s “Graveyard of Conscience” draws from Jeff’s time as a spokesperson for the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations. These are multiple shots of a surprisingly prismatic Bridalveil Falls at Yosemite. Its spectacular colors sent me down a rabbit hole of understanding color perception and deficiency. Despite all the variances in how people perceive color, perhaps the underlying truth is really just light and shadow. It’s just another way of saying, “less” is how we separate the signal from the noise.

A case for minimalism, made un-minimally.

It was a real treat to see a @janet_delaney taped up with the rest of the members’ works. This is from her solo show at @euqinomgallery “Too Ma
