In January our family had to move away from the place we had called home for the past 16 years. It was right in the middle of this girls senior year and after a series of events that shook our family to its core. She made the decision to stay in Mebane while the rest of us moved away. She was blessed to stay with her second family who we are all more than grateful for. That decision was a tough one that made us all nervous for her to stay there without us to finish high school. But this girl yall!! She pushed through every obstacle set in front of her. And even though I know it wasn’t easy she made it look like it was. She amazes me with her strength and determination. @ykriiahh Mariah, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. I know you are going to make all your dreams come true without a shadow of a doubt. I’m so very proud of you my baby!! Can’t wait to see you shine! Take up space my sweet girl 🎓🧡
