We made a splash—just missed the win! 🦆

This past weekend, I was happy to attend the big duck race at the YMCA’s Make a Splash, supporting free swim lessons and water safety skills for local children. Helping kids build confidence around water, regardless of what their families can afford, is something worth showing up for.

A special thank you to the YMCA of Southern Interior BC, its partners and volunteers for bringing our community together and helping keep our children safe. 💙

Great to attend the @ymcasibc ‘Make a Splash’ fundraising event today. Some great fun being had with team duck races. The lifeguards had a dominant win. Lucky enough to see @kierrasmith and make a donation on behalf of our family to this barrier free program that teaches grade 3 students in our school district to swim. #lauraforkelowna #kelownavotes
