Still can't get over the wonderful experience that is Sayaw ng mga Ilaw. Also lagay ko na rin dito yung kahit likod lang ni Ms Shiela yung kita namin sa isang scene (dahil kunwari audience siya) ramdam mo yung heartbreak like ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ (wow gen z dinescribe na lang as emoji haha) Pagbati muli sa Tanghalang Pilipino para sa isang pawerful na staging to start their 40th season! ๐Ÿ‘

It took a village to create a show as truthful yet gentle as this, and I'm happy to have been one of the villagers ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿช” (in my, as annika calls me, laya(n) element) sm station besties me with my most chaotic pre-show track for this musical lomls lomls (1) pov: you're an sm with stage business indak and tindig dance troupe ?! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป my babies !! ๐Ÿ’• one of the craziest lift checks in this show (on a cloth-covered stage WITHOUT spikes mind u) the village in question (SUPER incomplete) guho scene upstage left pov trust fall check ?? Never forget, never again!

And just like that, Sayaw ng mga Ilaw has officially taken its final bow. ๐Ÿค My heart is full of gratitude for this beautiful experience and all the wonderful people I had the privilege of working with. To Tanghalang Pilipino, thank you for inviting me to be part of your 40th season. I have long wanted to work with TP, and this experience was everything I had hoped for and more. To Tata Nanding, Tad, Lhorvie, Toni, and Marco, thank you for welcoming me so warmly into the TP family. To my incredibly talented castmates, the TP Actors Company โ€” Lhorvie, Ynna, Heart, Sarah, Earvin, and Mark โ€” I have so much admiration and respect for your talent, passion, and dedication to your craft. Thank you for the warmth, generosity, laughter, and friendships. I had the best time with you. Love you guys! ๐Ÿค To our two little old ladies, Annika and Wincess, what a joy to share the stage with such gifted young performers. Keep shining! To my longtime dear friend and colleague, Noel, thank you for your constant friendship and support. Always a pleasure sharing the stage with you! To the brilliant creative minds behind this production โ€” Tad, Marco, Al, D, Justin, Krina, Ekis, and Cheeno โ€” your artistry, creativity, and collaboration truly blew me away. What an honor to work with such extraordinary talent! To Ms. Carmela and the entire Production and Stage Management teams (Cy, Sofia, Chi, Mama Jo, Gelo, TJ, MC, Ley, Lia, Lian, Pia, Anya, Daniel, Uno) thank you for your warmth, hard work, dedication, and for taking such good care of us. I have nothing but admiration for your professionalism and commitment. Beyond the beautiful work we created, what I will cherish most is the warmth, camaraderie, friendships, and genuine love for the craft that made this experience so special. I leave with a grateful heart, wonderful memories, and an even deeper admiration for this incredible company. Hereโ€™s to more stories, more stages to share and hopefully many more collaborations with Tanghalang Pilipino! Maraming, maraming salamat! ๐Ÿค
