15 reception setups. 15 different vibes. And not one right way to do it

Candles, florals, colourful napkins, statement signage, long tables, round tables, elaborate styling or keeping things beautifully simple.

Wedding receptions are one of my favourite things to look back on because no two are ever quite the same.

Some couples have a clear vision from day one. Others have absolutely no idea where to start. Some want all the bells and whistles, while others just want good food, a full dance floor and all their favourite people in one room.

And you know what? I love them all.

Because your wedding doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. It doesn’t need to follow a trend, tick a box or be designed for the perfect Instagram photo.

It just needs to feel like you.

That’s the beauty of weddings. We get to celebrate so many different people, personalities and love stories, and every single one brings something different to the table. Literally 😉

Save this for a little reception inspo, and remember that you can take inspiration from other weddings without needing to recreate them.

And if you’re looking for someone to help bring your vision to life, you know where to find me

Romantic, whimsical and wildly beautiful 🤍🌿

Swipe through for a closer look at @ynsfloral's soft white blooms and lush greenery. They sit perfectly against the Jervis Bay National Park backdrop. Sydney weddings, events and special occasions don't get much dreamier than this.

When you take the bride and groom back to their suite for portraits…

There’s a reason @thealbertmosman works so incredibly well for weddings. With @kate.branch from @mosmanbride behind it, a former photographer who knows the wedding industry inside and out, it really does feel like The Albert was designed with weddings in mind.

Beautiful rooms, gorgeous light and spaces that actually work for getting ready and portraits.

For us, it’s an absolute no brainer for a Mosman wedding. Get ready here, and if time permits, come back for portraits and then spend your first night here as newlyweds.

And the location is pretty hard to beat. Gunners Barracks, Athol Hall, Sergeants’ Mess and Burnt Orange are all only around 10 minutes away.

Our number one Bed & Breakfast Hotel recommendation for a Mosman wedding.

Many hands really do make light work - especially when they’re the very best hands 🤍

A behind-the-scenes look at the prep and ceremony setup for Sonia and James at Centennial Park, where our team brought together beautiful wedding flowers, ceremony florals and all the little details that make a space feel special.

What you don’t see in this video is the very quick repurpose that happened straight after, moving these blooms to The Grounds of Alexandria for the reception. Stay tuned for those photos coming soon… think almost 200 roses hanging from the ceiling 🌹
