To Koree,

You are EXCEPTIONAL!!

You are brilliant. You are kind. You are a leader. You are honest. You are fair. Most importantly, you are a child of God, and it shows. The favor, the light, the anointing… you are everything God said you could be.

Whew. Writing this brings tears to my eyes because God saw fit for me to lead you, yet somehow, your entire life, you’ve been helping lead me too. What a blessing it is to be your mom.

I have watched you since Day 1, and since Day 1, I knew you were special. You’ve always been this brilliant ball of LIGHT! You’re only 14 years old, but you inspire me, motivate me, and make me proud every single day. I have so much respect for the young man you’ve grown into.

Congratulations on being inducted into the National Honor Society and graduating as Valedictorian. These accomplishments are incredible, but they are only the beginning of your success. Keeping God at the center of everything is gonna help you reach heights unimaginable!

Life will have peaks and valleys, highs and lows, but through it all, keep God first, before everything. Stay grounded in him, and he will continue to show you that there is nothing you cannot do. Always walk in that truth.

And remember, you’re not like anyone else. You’re YOU! Truly one of a kind. That’s your SUPER POWER!

I am beyond proud of you, son. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life. No matter how old you get or where life takes you, I will always be there front and center cheering you on.
