Before the potato found its way onto our tables, our elders were already pulling nourishment from the earth. Amadumbe. Sweet potato. Cassava. Wild tubers with no fancy names, just generations of hands that knew where to dig. The root doesn’t ask for attention, it grows quietly underground, patient, storing everything it needs to survive. That’s the lesson in it. That’s the ancestry in it.

What started as a learning opportunity came full circle.

After experiencing Unilever Food Solutions’ Future Menus as a Guest Chef alongside resident @chef_kiim , I had the privilege of using the Future Menu Diner Design concept, during my Decorex demo to share those same insights with a new audience.

Grateful to keep learning, growing, and passing knowledge forward. 🌿

Peep my cute apron and beautiful homeware from the @homewarestore and @sprung_za !! 🤭

Our grandmother knew the science before the scientists did.
Chicken feet are one of nature’s richest sources of collagen, the protein that keeps joints moving, skin glowing, and gut walls strong.
While the wellness world sells it in capsules, our kitchens have been simmering it in pots for generations. Read all about it
