In 2020 Alex Sossah and Grace Ladoja (Co-Founders - Metallic Inc) launched the METALLIC FUND to support and enable emerging Black talent in the creative industries.

In November 2021 through a partnership with Foot Locker Europe we added the METALLIC FUND FASHION DESIGN PROGRAMME - an accelerator programme for promising Black and people of colour creatives.

The project was developed to illustrate the complete design journey from research and ideation through to design, manufacture and sale. The brief was created in collaboration with Foot Locker with the final designs being produced commercially and sold in Foot Locker’s Marble Arch store in London.

The film COMING SOON was directed by Israel Peters and tells that story. It was made in dedication to Virgil Abloh for being a constant source of inspiration to us all.

“Life is so short you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what someone thinks you can do versus knowing what you can do.” — In loving memory of Virgil Abloh 1980-2021 🕊
