My heart has grown bigger through this practice, largely because of the souls it has brought into my path.

Yoga means union - bringing body, mind and breath together. But to me, it is also a bridge to other people.

When we become more connected to ourselves, we can also meet others on a deeper level. And that lets us see that, underneath all our different stories, we are not so different after all. 🤍🤍🤍

Just before the Autumn Equinox, we gathered in beautiful Ticino for a few precious days of slowing down, softening and simply being.

A beautiful group of women from different ages, places and walks of life, brought together for a little pause from the everyday.

There was movement, stillness, delicious meals, deep conversations, laughter, nature, sunshine and those little moments in between that somehow become the ones we remember most.

I love how a retreat can create a little world of its own. Just a few days to slow down, reconnect, share stories and return home feeling a little more present🤎

Thank you to every woman who shared these days with us, and to @casasantostefano for your warm hospitality.

And a special thank you to the best co-creator @yj_yogajulie for another beautiful retreat together. So grateful fo all the magic we get to create together🤎

Until next time, with a full heart🍁

We come to practice from different places. 🤍

Different bodies. Different energies. Different seasons of life.

Some days we need movement. Some days we need stillness. Some days we give more, and some days we simply want to receive.

Come as you are. Move from where you are. ✨

There’s space for all of it.
This is our practice.
This is our SOULSPACE.

Learning Shirshasana - Headstand - can have value beyond the physical challenge.

Reversing your perspective

Turning upside down is a powerful metaphor: the world literally looks different. It reminds us that many of our assumptions are simply habits of perception.

The pose invites us to ask:
What changes when I stop seeing things the usual way?
Which of my fears come from unfamiliarity rather than real danger?

Facing Fear Consciously

The goal isn’t to eliminate fear, but to develop a steadier relationship with it.

Balance as a dynamic process

A headstand is never perfectly still. Tiny adjustments happen constantly to maintain equilibrium.

This mirrors, balance is not a static state, it is continuous adaptation. Life, relationships, and emotional well-being work much the same way.

It is not the inversion of the body that transforms us, but the inversion of our perspective on ourselves and the world.

Join me on the Alma Rooftop to explore the deeper meaning behind the practice. ♥️

Day by day, nothing seems to change — but when you look back, everything is different. You know that feeling?

A year ago, I was dreaming about teaching more yoga. I could feel it calling me, but it’s also a harsh market, with so many great teachers out there.

And then, slowly, doors started opening for me in ways I didn’t expect. I feel genuinely grateful. A bit in awe of it, too.

“I’m proud of you” is easy to say to someone else. But saying “I’m proud of myself” feels unfamiliar, uncomfortable, even a bit strange… but actually there’s nothing strange about acknowledging your own becoming.

So I speak it out loud: I’m proud of myself and grateful that I was able to step into teaching at my new yoga home at Alma Hotel and to sub for my teacher at Airyoga. To stand where I once only observed, and to grow into spaces I used to only imagine. ❤️
