We are back! 🎉
I feel like I’ve been a part timer all summer - it’s been busy! But it’s October and we are finally back into the swing of things, and Sunday mornings at @yoga_borne are back!
This month we are exploring ways to Chakrasana (Wheel). As usual, plenty of options and variations for all. Really loving this months sequence, and hopefully see you on the mat! ❤️🙏

A short extract from @yoga_borne’s online meditation class 🍂

I felt inspired to put some visuals to the beautiful words by @karine_annick, encouraging us to embrace the changing seasons as we move into autumn.

Audio from @yoga_borne’s guided meditation session ‘Autumn Equinox’, with footage I filmed around my allotment.

Karine runs seasonal online meditation sessions that you can join from the comfort of your own home via Zoom, with classes bookable through the @yoga_borne website — which I highly recommend if you fancy giving yourself half an hour of calm 😌

Thank you to @yoga_borne for the amazing work you do, and for giving me permission to use the audio and share the finished film here 🍁🧡

Join me on Saturday 7th November for a nourishing three-hour journey into the world of Vinyasa Yoga, designed to warm the body, calm the mind, and deepen your connection to your practice.

In this immersive workshop, we will explore not only the movement of Vinyasa but also its history, philosophy, and foundations. Together, we will discover the roots of Yoga and the Eight Limbs, tracing the evolution of Vinyasa into the fluid, breath-led practice we all know and love today.
We will take the time to break down the foundations of Vinyasa, exploring Sun Salutations A and B and key poses, with a special focus on alignment, variations, and modifications. We will connect with our breath through pranayama and conclude the experience with a dynamic, warming heated Vinyasa flow that puts everything we have explored into practice.
Finally, we will settle into a well-deserved relaxation (Savasana) and guided meditation, allowing body and mind to fully absorb the afternoon’s benefits.

Whether you are new to Vinyasa and eager to learn more, or an experienced practitioner looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop offers the chance to learn, explore, and connect with yourself and your practice in a supportive and nourishing environment.

Come in from the winter cold and leave feeling warm, grounded, strong and relaxed!

Visit @yoga_borne website and you can book it via Glofox and also the online shop.

Thank you so much to Karine the owner of @yoga_borne for asking me to make some Autumn stars for the studio's Autumn window display. Go check out Yoga Bourne's instagram, Karine & Jay have created the most wonderful studio & community there, so many amazing events such as Yoga in The Park which has run all summer, wild swimming too. Wonderful people! 💕

A massive thank you to the @yoga_borne teachers for running the amazing free Yoga In The Park sessions this summer, and to all the local Friends Groups who supported them along the way!

It's been wonderful seeing so many different people, ages, abilities and walks of life come together for Yoga in the Park 2026...and the feedback speaks for itself:

"My 16 year old daughter has attended many sessions in Cotteridge Park on Tuesday nights, and you have achieved something we haven't, despite lots of attempts! She has now found a form of exercise she really enjoys. A lovely, sociable activity she has done with friends all summer."

Yoga Borne have heard from so many people about the real difference these sessions have made to their physical and mental wellbeing, a brilliant example of how something as simple as yoga in the park can have such a genuine impact.

As the weather becomes more unpredictable and chillier, the classes will be ending at the end of this month. But, there are still a few final sessions left - so come along while you can!

The final dates are (weather dependent):

Cotteridge Park, B30 - Tuesday 22nd, Tuesday 29th, 6pm
Stirchley Park, B30 - Saturday 19th, Saturday 26th, 11:15am
Senneley's Park, B32 - Saturday 19th, 11:15am
Bournville Park, B30 - Sunday 20th, Sunday 27th, 11:15am

The Yoga Borne studio is located at 1406-1408 Pershore Road and is close to the majority of these locations, so if you'd like to keep up your practice once the outdoor sessions end, they'd love to have you along there too.

Yoga Borne will also be trialling new "Community Classes" from October at Cotteridge Quaker House and Bournville (location TBC), run on a sliding payment scale.

It was such a lovely summer of yoga in parks - thank you to everyone who joined in, we are looking forward to it all again next year! 💚

These sessions were made possible thanks to funding from @officialsportengland and @tnlcommunityfund.

@yoga_borne was a night club!

We created such a vibe together in that gorgeous studio.

I worked on making you have the best experience with nostalgic lyrics to relax your body to give you the confidence to move more. And it WORKED 🤩

RnB classics remixed with deep/minimal/bass house did the trick. Then we moved into more dancefloor fillers to really build the energy.

It was hot, fun and LOUD.

Next one 2nd October.

@yoga_borne will be hosting monthly MIM parties from Sept-Dec. 💃

These parties are hosted by myself and I create a feel-good mix for you to dance to. It's really that simple.

MIM is unique because we start slow. We focus on the music, making micro movements, guided exercises and gradually moving more as the energy of the music increases. We keep the lights low too, creating a space where you can relax, switch off and just enjoy moving.

This method is backed by neuroscience, but without even realising it you're doing all the good stuff for your body. Releasing tension, reducing stress and getting a great workout simply by dancing to a specifically curated playlist.

The music is really important. I create every mix myself and want to take you on a journey using the magic of club bangers, Ibiza classics and nostalgic vocals that unlock memories and moments you forgot were there.

It's fun, easy to follow and probably exactly what you need as we head into Autumn and Winter.

No dance experience required.
No rules.
No judgement.

Tickets are available via my link or directly through Yoga Borne.

See you on the dancefloor. 💋
