We often tend to overestimate somethings we are capable of & underestimate others. The human mind, while great at calculations, is not so great at predicting our own potential. You can find great strength in hardships. Have you ever heard the phrase “pressure makes diamonds?” It comes from the fact that coal, which is dark & dirty, when under pressure for a long period of diamond, turns into diamonds, one of our most valued jewels. The same is true of the human being. When we put out muscles under regular stress, they grow, when our immune system faces challenges, it becomes stronger. And when we face challenges in life, & approach them with the belief that they can make us more psychologically resilient, that’s exactly what happens. This is what a consistent Yoga practice does for us. An Interesting fact, is as we move through our Yoga poses daily we start to build this physical strength we never thought we had & as our minds become calmer the inner strength grows then we become stronger at handling our everyday stress which allows us to think before we speak more in turn makes us less reactive. Most of all, as the strength builds we realize the impossible is possible physically, mentally & spiritually then the realization comes of your full potential. #yoga #yogapose #stretch #balance #balancedlife #focus #strength #yogajourney #journeytohealth #findstrength #yogabenefits #strongwomen #youarestrong #yogisoffortlauderdale #floridayogacommunity #floridayoga #soflo #sofloyoga #fortlauderdale #practicemakesprogress #practice #yogadaily #bepresent #iloveyoga #yogainspiration #yogainstructor #yogafam #yogacommunityfl #yogafitfam #believeinyourself

Happy Independence Day- we should be proud today to be an independant country. Wars were won and freedom was achieved. But we might have gotten freedom from people who invaded our country, yet there is still such a long way to go before we are really free.
Everyday is battle with casteism, sexism, rascism, classism etc and ofocurse now fight against global warming and saving our own planet from an enemy that never sleeps (i just used GOT context and i don’t think in the right manner). Anyways, I am not saying we should not count our blessings, after all the women in Saudi Arabia got the right to apply for a passports, register for divorce, marriage or childbirth or be issues other family documents. I mean whhattttttt.
So ofocurse we should count out blessings but not be over confident about it. There is a long long long way to go before we are truly free. Because to be truly free we need to recognise the true enemy which is our own selves and this and this society and its weird Norms that we have built.
I don’t think I will live to see a day where everyone is truly liberated and free. But nothing is going to stop me from praying for such a day for our future generations to come.
May nothing hold us down ⭐️⭐️ • Happy Independence Day India 🇳🇪

Do u feel tightness all over your body? Then try Foam Rolling; It can help reduce pain, muscle soreness & increase flexibility. Massaging the muscles increases blood flow & oxygen to the tissue along with helping the natural healing process. Foam rolling, together with stretching, can help lengthen your muscles. At least, once a week you should rehab your body with self-care allowing yourself to release any tension in your body along with relaxing your mind. Foam rolling, it does a body good😉#postworkout #selfcare #selflove #foamroller #foamrolling #foamroll #massage #muscles #flexible #flexibility #heal #healing #stretching #stretch #relax #yogagirl #wellness #fit #grind #healthy #healthylifestyle #yogi #peaceful #peaceofmind #mindfulness #myofascialrelease #happy #journey #fitfam #yogafit
