Bakasana aka Crane Pose

Today was my first attempt to this pose. Thank you @yogicakes for asking me to try.
I came into it quite easily starting from crow pose and slowly straightening my arms. Arching upper back, pointing toes towards hips came quite naturally... all these made possible with the multiple crow pose practice we did during @yogicakes power flow class.

I'm glad I tried and I'll continue to practice.

So this is the real “toast” post to my parents who just recently celebrated their wedding anniversary.

First of all, I cannot say they had a conventional marriage because their love for each other goes beyond the emotional and practical aspects. It is hard to explain actually but I can say as one of the four products of their love, they will stay together through it all from their petty arguments to their quiet dinner together. You will never see that in movies which makes their marriage the most realistic you will ever witness.

I love you Papa and Mama. Three cheers to both of you.

With love,
-J

So this year I didn’t offer any Valentine’s cookies but only because I was already fully booked to.the.brim. The cookies on this post is what truly filled my Valentine’s week. 💗
Of course I am not in the position to complain because it is such a wonderful blessing to be busy.
Sometimes we complain of being busy. Of not having time to sleep, or go out, or binge watch the much talked about K-Drama. What are we busy with? Long-hours at work because it’s peak season? business? children? messy house? etc. I too am guilty of just focusing on the stress of being busy brings and not on the blessings. Blessings like I have work, I have a thriving business, I have healthy children, I have a house. I truly understand how stressful being busy can be. Focusing on the blessing is the goal and balance is the key. Make sure you alot a time to pay yourself for your hardwork to rest your body and your heart. Put it in your calendar even for just a few hours. Hit the reset button and carry on. @firstaidforkidsph

Mommy and me yoga is a great way to feel yourself again after having a baby, as well as a wonderful opportunity for baby bonding.
